By the way as a general rule for lore purposes: Codexes = canon White Dwarf = canon Novels = semi-canon Supplements = I don't use these, partly because they are limited edition and expensive, thus I could not reasonably expect my players to go out and buy them all! I do like it if you've read at least one Eldar Codex though, doesn't have to be the newest one, in fact the older ones are pretty good and will give you an overview perfectly well. Lexicanum = a nice source of usually accurate Cliff Notes, they do make an effort to provide sources but as always on a publically-editable wiki, just be aware that they may not be 100%. No disrespect intended. Fan fiction = hell no. Where there are lore conflicts I will resolve them in the way that makes most sense to me and then try to be consistent For the purposes of this I will just state here that the Young King is an Exarch, and not an Aspect Warrior as they are in some editions, and that Isha is dead along with all the other Eldar gods except Cegorach and Khaine.

He only lived among corsairs and only knows how craftworlders and comorrites are from tales of his mother and friends. Gentlemen, I became aware of the "awesome Eldar through Dawn of War" route a little while ago so I finally realised why people were looking at me strangely as if to say "Codexwhatareyoutalkingaboutwoman". So it's not going to make me hit you with sharp things. Lexicanum is pretty good about sources, too. I just like primary sources so if you get a chance to read a Codex by all means do They also usually have a ton of pretty pictures and shiny models which may go part of the way towards explaining my obsession ... but totally not expecting anyone to shell out $$$ for a brand new Codex just to play here.

Should we mention 1D4chan? or are the frail soul not ready ? It might not be... accurate... but it has the fanbase humor that makes it easyer to take in... I guess.
.......... If any RP here ever includes 1d4 Chan (in a serious way) then I just go and kill myself. EDIT: of course up to jorimel, but my PERSONAL recommendation (not trying to backseat GM here but 1d4 is just a horrible horrible place) is to not use it.
Just letting the option open for the new ones. 1d4chan is a good laugh. And not every person is haveing the same joy of reading though lore.
