This will be in the relative center (or most balanced location) of the map. It will have some fortification around the capture center point. Each team will have one of these at their spawn and a player must pick it up and stick it in relic center. The one carrying this will drop it if they execute any action other then walk/jog (no sprinting, no dodging, no shooting, no meleeing). Each team can melee (only melee damage counts) the other teams standard to break it when it is dropped or placed on relic center. Once broken it will immediately re-spawn on teams "base". Estimating that 10 heavy attacks should break a standard as good place to start. If a team does manage to plant the standard on relic center they will gain points. Whichever team fills the bar up first wins. Overtime is available if a team has a standard on relic center after timer ends. Overtime ends if team fills the bar or standard is broken. The game mode can be a tug of war style points bar, general fill it up, or first to complete 5 caps (maybe even give teams a unique per cap?). Example of what the game mode would look like.
You should submit this idea to the Eternal battles. They are trying to build different game types. The idea is interesting, but I'd like to see it on smaller teams: 10v10 at most, meaning ambushes, turtling and back and forth could be valuable and correct tactics.
The fun thing about this game mode is it works for small and large teams. Submit for me I have no clue what you are talking about?

I do have to say I love the idea of this game mode and I think it's been sunwards before. That said they would need to create specific maps for it too or use expand on current ones. I wouldn't mind smashing with a banner
