This thread shows how useless a prebuilt buyable loudout actually is. You look cool but you pay money to gimp yourself.
My Load out. 1. Emphasis Burst Damage 2. Lifesteal on hit (since mostly running around NOT near your supply crates)
Anyone who says PK isn't worth it has obviously never strong-attacked a heavy class into low orbit. That feeling you get is better than drugs. Basically the whole reason I use PK stormboy since vehicle hunting is pretty not good. I like that the Klaw/Fist strikes a balance between terrible in melee and terrible at AV. That's how it's supposed to be, as it is in the tabletop. Meltabombs will do you better AV but can't be used in melee while a power weapon can't hurt vehicles but does better in melee. Klaw/Fist gets the worst of both worlds, but can be used for both, and never runs out of ammo or in this game, breaks. It doesn't need a buff or fix besides maybe vehicle movement being changed a bit, especially Serpents, the worst offenders and the most in need of a fix/nerf.
I kan see da issue 'ere wut wif elites though. Ye only getz wun elite a match. Yer not goin' fer fun at dat point, yer goin' fer wut be effective and wut won't die easily so ye can keep playin' it since ye gotz only da wun loif. Ye won't make sacrifices ta' 'elp uvva's and wut 'ave ye eitha', dey be risky Sure, dat wun attack iz gunna be roight fun! Ya went all sneaky loik and got da bloke roight inta' orbit, but now ye gotz dat unwieldy powa' klaw if'n anywun else 'appens ta' be dere and see da big red triangle ova' ya 'ead wut screams "KILL ME FER MOAR EXP!"
I'm having OK results using PKlaw for melee and Zip Slugga (Or Dakka Slugga with Ammo Pack) as my main weapon. Like, if I can sneak a one shot with Pklaw, I do it. Otherwise I shoot my gun and pretend I'm a Ranger. Better than trying to roll the dice with Pklaw melee I tried the One-shot. Even taking the time to line up that headshot it won't kill anyone except Eldar. Not worth it IMO. I also tried Burny Choppa. Basically it played about as good as my regular Slugga Veteran, which is to say not that sneaky and much more choppy. Also, I've actually had people come close to me to "Inspect" what they thought was a graphical glitch, which was quite amusing.
