For the wearer. Seriously they look cool, but they are very impractical gameplay wise, and a huge disadvantage in line of sight. Cant see the moves to counter in meelee with the rokkit, and your left side is completely blind on your loota when braced. With a heavy bolter you can see all around even when not braced. Please consider this, its pretty hard to work around.
Oh my sweet sweet Gork YES. Can't tell you how many times that huge deff gun blocks my vision for a shot. No wonder Orks can't aim for shit.
I voted no but meant yes, would be nice if the deffguns/plasma were the same, having a big thingy blocking your view when you're trying to kill spikey gitz is annoying
There should be a First person view when needed. It will work better with heavy weapons but it could also be a mode for assault troops (and any other in fact)
The Deffgun isn't that intrusive given you usually use it in braced mode. You can make the rokkit smaller though. But TBH, increasing field of view is a much better solution.
Also the RT plasma deffgun is pretty much useless as it blocks your view even more. I love the model but after few games with it I had to change back to the standard one.
I wasn't able to capture the zoomed in version of this, but this is with the plasma and when zoomed in the blue bar blocks your view so I get stuck having to shoot based off when the reticle is red
If possible I think they should test out the approach Warframe used for Hall Of Mirrors In Warframe Mirage can create four doppelgangers of herself (think Eldar Phantom Titan's 4+ save). They are always a fixed two meters from her, but if the player puts their crosshair over a doppelganger the game will cut out a big chunk of the doppelganger, about ten degrees around the crosshair Example: notice how the front-most doppelganger is invisible from the waist up http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/pp331/AngelAffinity/IgnisBug_zps81ab9733.jpg
