Given that everyone isn't going to have an 8 core will quad core work too? I have one that runs at 3.0 ghz.
Honestly, it's too early to worry about getting a system now if you weren't already planning it. Wait until summer 2015, that's at least 2 generations of computer hardware, at which point the stuff that is out now will be stupidly cheap and the stuff that is out then will be cheap and better. In general, these days any CPU will be fine, it's your GPU (IE: graphics cards) that make much more of a difference.
I know it's too early to talk about specs but just out of curiosity, do You think EC would run decently on this?: (I guess CPU is much too weak now) Intel (R) Core (TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10ghz RAM : 4gb 64 bit Win 7 NVDIA GeForce GTX 560
Well, we don't know the min specs for sure until it's finished. Sure they have a target they're aiming for, but such things rarely end up exactly on target. Could be a little higher, could be a little lower, the best thing to do about specs right now is just wait and see.
So I'm confused.. I was hoping this would be for consoles (fingers crossed) but with hearing about the thick headed approach of MS I am far less hopeful. My question is though, would BE still produce a platform game for PS4 if Sony were to agree to their terms? Or is it all or nothing as in both xbox1 and PS4 or neither. Sorry if this has already been answered I'm new lol
I don't see why they would limit themselves to PC only if one console were willing but not the other. Coding for playstation is distinctly different from both PC and Xbox, so it's not as if they would be getting a 2 for 1 deal by porting it to consoles. Hell, if Microsoft doesn't come through, that's essentially a console exclusive for Sony, and they may be willing to sweeten the deal for Behaviour if that's the case.
The Problems are MS and Sony, not Behavior...... Behavior said already they want as many ppl as possible. But they only go with platform if Cross-Platform is allowed. And that is a thing that MS and Sony has to decide. PERIOD. EDIT: What you described with PS4 exclusive already happened back then with EVE DUST 514 if just anyone would keep it in mind! (but nobody seems to know or remember EVE DUST 514 <.<)
Never said it was on Behavior's end. I'm saying that the decisions to bring the game to PS4 and Xbox One are in all likelihood independent of each other due to the difference in code requiring a unique port for each.
