  1. Abbadon can't "die" but he can lose. As he has. Multiple times. Over and over.

And Belial can still get his ass handed to him. Plot armor be damned.

And the Eldar, probably have some other goal or whatever and they'll pretend they won while fleeing for their lives.

With a Warboss created for the game the Orks have really nothing to lose but everything to gain. So just saying Orks can't win because lolGW logic, is not giving us enough credit-or any credit for that matter. It's not a question on if the Orks take Arkohona, it's when.
  2. Ignoring the 1d4 jokes about the armless failure, haven't most, if not all of his black crusades been successful, in terms of his set goals?

    1. Got the sword.
    2. Unclear, retreated.
    3. Destroyed the remains of an Imperial Saint related to a prophecy.
    4. Defeated.
    5. Chaos Victory.
    6. Took control of a Sons of Horus warband.
    7. Blood Angels almost squatted.
    8. Gained Tzeentch's favour.
    9. Destroyed an entire sector's defences and slaughtered said sector with impunity.
    10. Rampaged around the Iron Hands home sector, slaughtering many and learning of its defences and the chapter's weaknesses for later.
    11. Daemon Ork hybrids.
    12. Stole 2 blackstone fortresses and destroyed the rest, giving the Imperium a planet-busting middle finger.
    13. The current stage, attempting to destroy the pylons and turn Cadia into a daemon world.
  3. Yes he has been retconned into not being a total failure. I guess the jokes were too real, so they decided on tacking on some lore.

With having his crusades be reduced to stepping stones as compared to just the horrible loses they were for Chaos

    So it doesn't count

It's still taking Abbadon over 13 crusades to do what the Beast did with one WAAAGH!

Get to Terra and wreck shit.
  4. Yeah, but the Beast had ambassadors, that's a huge advantage.
  5. Yes, because we all know Ork Ambassadors are the best at diplomacy

  6. The best at what Orks consider to be diplomacy, probably.
  7. It's called diplomacy because you punch the git in the face till he starts seeing things your way, or until they can no longer see things their way

Or until they can no longer see anything at all
  8. You grotz got dis fing all wrong. Da Orks 'ave already won da 'ole Galaxy. Da uvver gits just 'avent figured it out yet, an' da Orks let e'm keep finkin' like dat cuz while dey iz', we getz more fights.

Orkz is made fer fightin' an' winnin'. Some o' dem 'umie gitz figured dat one out when dey sent dere probes outside a' da galaxy an only 'eard proppa Ork Mukkin' about. 'Sonly a matter a' time till da uvver gits on Orkhona realize dey's already lost.

the beast also was against the imperium at their prime and it took a freaking Primarch to take him down (not just any primarch either, mr. D-bag Horus himself)

hell i even read that in 1 battle (to be fair they were HEAVILY outnumbered, but hey that's what orks do) horus had to kill an ork that was trying to strangle big E to death

I think you are mixing stories here. The beast shows up like 1500 years after the HH occurs.
