Founder's refund option was closed after this, then later they changed what we're getting into what's showing now.
  2. They didn't made it in time because the release was pushed. That shit happens during game development. Yet I don't comment about the way bE deals with that. I personally don't give a damn but lots of people are apparently upset about them lately.
  3. Oh come on. It takes literally no time at all to edit an existing Photoshop document (not make one from scratch, they did not need to do that) to create the current one.

    Process to prove:
    • New layer
      • Fill: black
    • Delete Layers: background (until its just the text and relevant pictures i.e. delete the Heroes, keep the Weapons)
    • Delete the random lines and boxes
    • Change/delete Text where appropriate.
    • Move elements up to fill any empty space created
    • Reduce Canvas Size
Done. Easily within an hour by anyone with a basic understanding of Photoshop, or 3 hours max with no knowledge and access to YouTube. I am sure there was someone that could have done that, even if they spent ten minute blocks over a week and half they could have had it done.

The fact is the final new version looks even more visually different than the basic rough job I outlined. Which means someone took an hour or more to make it, but they were quite possibly from the art team, or the marketing team. The marketing team has no excuses, because I have seen no marketing for the game. The art team has a million excuses; however, they shouldn't have had to waste their time with a marketing tool when they were crunching a game. Anyone in the studio could have taken an hour of their time, at any point over the last few months, to change the graphic. The fact is, they didn't, despite how easy it was. Instead they chose a last minute rush... or deliberately refrained from changing to deliberately mislead customers.

Either way, they could have simply deleted the one on steam and made a thread saying "new infographic TBA; disregard old one until further notice." If they can take an hour to play the game and answer questions on Twitch, they could have easily done that. Katie and Nathan are sitting in front of a PC the whole time in there, they could have done it with ease.

But they did not. That's why people can justify being mad and asking for a refund. They won't get it because they have not acted unlawfully (blame Steam's EA policies) but they still have the right to complain.

    Pretty much this.

Everything on an internet forum is always so simple. Just click this or remove that and BLAMMO! Everything is fixed and perfect.

I SO wish real life worked like Internet forums. Minus the salt of course. Too much sodium choloride is bad for you.

-This is not the game that was initially advertised on Steam. Agreed.

-They need to change that advertisement if they are not going to be able to deliver any time in the near future. Agreed.

-Changing online advertisement is simple when dealing with 3rd and 4th parties. WHAT? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I WISH!

-The law doesn't matter if someone on the forums says it doesn't. Um... okay. I am sure those nice people in uniform coming to talk to you will be very polite...

    - I deserve a refund even though I missed the expiration date for the refund because I deserve it. No comment.

  5. I never mentioned the actual making of the infograph but I was talking about why they had to scrap the old one and put in another one with less promised features.
They weren't simply able to implement everything they wanted to. It's still weird that they swapped them secretly without telling anyone like: "hey guys, we changed the infograph because we didn't have enough time for all the features", or did I just missed their post?

If you want a refund go to support and file a ticket as you've been told countless times.

You aren't going to get a refund making asinine threads on a forum.

If you've broken steam policy then you likely won't get one.

Blade - you clearly don't deserve a refund, I don't see any problem with the response you received.

The amount of people who want something for nothing these days is truly sickening.

Well I do see a problem with the response I got, I explained to Terry how BHVR broke the deal and how in this light their standard refunding policy is out of place, because the situation is not standard, it's simply not even taken into consideration in their rules. I am aware some things cannot be predicted but it's not my problem, if BHVR wanted to keep the face they should have acted more flexibly, a bit outside of the box, thus they would have at least kept some of my respect.

Well it seems they don't give a fuck about respect anymore, besides they are afraid that if they gave 1 refund there would be thousands of others following very quickly which would definitely speed up the rottening process. That's it folks.

They didn't "break a deal". The deal was this - you purchased a founders pack knowing (I assume since you're supposedly a 40 yr old man) that the game might turn out one way, it might turn out another, or it might not even materialise at all. Despite all this they still offered you a refund when it became clear that the original vision would not be met. They did "act flexibly, a bit outside the box". You elected not to take this refund when you had the chance.

You want something for nothing. You've had your fun, you've grown bored of the game and you think that if you jump on a bandwagon and kick up a fuss you can get your $80 back. Really gutted it didn't work out for you Blade. Still, at least you have Deathwing to look forward to.

This is precisely where you are wrong, I swallowed the news about no road to open world earlier (at that time refunds were possible) but I couldn't swallow missing ico stuff, that was the straw that broke camel's back for me. And at this time no refunds were possible for founders.

    ...and Sanctus Reach - luckily.
