Space Wolves are inspired by Norse mythology with an unhealthy dose of wolf wolf wolfy wolf thrown in. I prefer them when they were mostly vikings innnnnnnnn spaaaaaaaaace and not uber obsessed furries. Things like running around with wolf packs and thunderwolves and the wolf iconography I *can* get behind, but when they have to literally wolf everything in their arsenal, it gets over the top silly. When the new 'dex rolls out, I do hope they up the norse factor and tone down the wolf factor a bit.
