Btw yesterday I do a few matches against Eldar and I pity them, there wasn't enough meat at the end to cook more than one point years roast.
It has gotten pretty dire for Eldar, I kill marines easier with my Fusion gun than my Dire Avenger! how has the cqc specialist class that gives up range and 80% of his wargear for marginally better cqc damage reached this point?(the shitty hip fire accuracy *ahem*) it was fun though roasting as the Dragon, being able to reliably kill again. I think this game sucks without goals so I see nothing wrong with grouping up and playing with a common goal as a faction, although it would be better if campaigns actually released since you would get rewarded for territory control with RTC n stuff instead of just bragging rights and banter
I can't deny that goals and campaign are needed to create something more than look at my balls they are bigger. As far as I'm concerned I have never skip match versus Eldar even when they were at their cheese fest. I had always try to respect my opponent. Eldar are strong on some point weaker in others but post like that where guilds member bitch about steamrolling newby is shameful. I have done it also, beat newby isn't a feat worth of merits so I try not to brag about it. This game need a serious rescaling in weapons in all factions, not to get the same everywhere but got the proper tone for each class, sub factions and factions. For example the fire on the wolf priest? Ice and frost should be far better...
In a match by match basis, I agree with you. I try to play well and win, most people do, some don't. But that war report map is meaningless, there is no benefit for it, as it is. And using it, especially in its current state, for an e-peen stroking thread is hilariously pathetic to me.

And the only thing you need then is patience. Like, infinite amounts of it. To get more serious: faction-bashing (no matter who bashes whom) is ok for RP, but not in any other context. It just stresses a game's community. One might say it digs trenches instead of building brigdes (and I was thinking a community was about bridges, but what do I know). A bit of bickering here and there is inavoidable, but this forum (and this thread is a fine example of many) brings it to a whole new level. I agree that balancing (game-wise as well as on cosmetics) is an issue and that dev-preferences are a bad thing, but blaming the faction getting the new stuff is like shooting the messenger. Everyone stay as civil as possible, noone cry "XYZ OP" or "XYZ BULLSHIT" and we might prevent further collateral damage.
Lol, Eldar OP is a constant spam 24/7 since day of launch. It happens in Eldar games, it happens even in games that don't involve Eldar. This thread is a drop in the bucket if you feel like it's "instigating" something.
The way I see thing right now is a reversal, LSM bitched Eldar into nerfs and made many abuse threads which that community likes to forget about, then Ork bitching came because of strong attacks and now it's LSM with their weapons/buffs as of late (is it true LSM get free advancements when reaching level 4 or 5 btw I heard some talk of it but if so then that sucks since I still have to spend like 400ap on armour) Anyway hell I can't bare to play our "capping" class because they suck balls and preform better with a melta gun since that doesn't miss 80% if its shots when moving or/and hip firing, I mean what's the point in Eldar speed if your punished for using it anyway? I sure this will equal out eventually and cool down when the LSM content stream lowers for some actually underdeveloped factions, but until then and Eldar don't have 1 weapon on 4/7 classes and madi blasters the devs wont get a defense out of me especially with their price model for cosmetics
