Play his faction or face him in battle. You're either with Eldar, or against Eldar. Not so much purposeful crushing as it is incidental.
and how are we "a dying people" if we keep steamrolling you and making the map reset all the time exactly? fine for me though, I honestly don't get why everybody wants the "new players", they'll just screw everything up because they don't know what to do and occupy more battles so whatever
It's a lore based comment. As for the "map" there is no reason to even care about it, and I don't know of any LSM player that does. But hey, if a color change on some make believe map, that does nothing whatsoever, gives your life meaning. More power to you.
"Man I really feel like the Eldar need some balance help, I feel bad that their faction always gets sidelined..." *sees threads like this, with snarky comments, full of bullshit* "...yup feeling is gone." Eldar, their own worst enemy since they created an ass eating god on their own to destroy themselves.
Just to toss out why the map hasn't been solid blue. As you win matches, the ability for LSM to push back increases rapidly, meaning if you lose a match elsewhere even if you win every match then it'll easily flip to LSM. Therefore to keep the map like this, you must win every match flawlessly.
It is an indication of the recent win loss ratio between the two factions so players care about it if they take pride in playing well and winning. Granted players and guilds should be properly rewarded for having high win percentages especially if they help to take territories. Hopefully once campaigns are finally added and are further developed this will be the case. My personal hope with regards to players of any faction (especially new players) is that if they lose they can be mature enough to think about why they lost instead of just spamming stuff like "*insert faction here* is OP" or complaining about clan stacks. Right now the balance is not perfect (and never will be), but it has been pretty reasonable for a while so the main deciding factor in battles is the skill and experience of the players/guilds and how well they work together. This is why I am always telling people to make friends and join guilds. It benefits us all to encourage friendly competition between all the players, factions and guilds so that we have more people to enjoy the game with. Regardless of whether they are on our faction or just giving us a good fight. This is why WP, WBZ and LASH all share the same TS3 server and regularly warparty with people from other guilds/factions (yes even LSM ;P ) because we just want as many people as possible to enjoy the game with.
