Hey devs, I just wanted to ask if you're aware that the assaults ground slam is currently broken, I slammed right on top of people countless times and for some reason they weren't stunned at all and just happily rolled backwards.
now ground slam require a minimal height to work. they are working in make a more clear indicator for understand it.
Hmm I did it from multiple heights, ranging from an estimated 10-50 meters and in none of these cases my opponents were actually stunned.
Guess it could be lag causing this? You think you've hit them but the server thinks they are outside the slam radius?
I tested it aggain and I still think that it's somehow broken. The poblem is that I can't really take any screenshots, all that action just happens to fast, I'd probably ned to record a vio.
I think it's linked with the body sticking glitch. It's happened to me twice and both times have been when there's been a dead body on the ground within the slam radius. It's annoying, but it does look quite cool when you get stuck in that animation for a few seconds - especially when the guy you were just about to murder backs off in surprise as he can't figure out wth is going on with you.
yes, if you land on a player, or edge of a crate, or edge of a rino(can't though confirm for landing on a corpse), your charged fly will be cancelled, resulting in no damage and, furthermore, you death.
The Jet Pack in general is acting strange since two build sago. I find the Jet Pack not responding quite often when I'm in combat even though I clearly have 2 or 3 bars of fuel. I do this weird thing where my character hovers about a foot off the ground.. but goes nowhere as I'm mashing my space bar through the floor.. to no avail. The Ground Slam is broken to some extent, even when slamming from extreme heights I've had opponents just keep on running or immediately roll away and attack me with ranged weapon or not roll away and just hit me with melee attacks before I can recover from my own ground slam. The lag excuse seems all in encompassing, surely we can't blame every possible bug on lag. It's worth taking a look at the very least.
