Supports picking people up faster would be incentive for people to let supports heal pick them up at least. Would be even better if you actually kneel down, poke them, and them pull them up off the ground animation wise. But you know...
Not necessarily(or maybe it's just because most Apothecaries didn't even know it existed), however while the fix to this bug impacted all supports, I feel like Apothecary doesn't care as much about long animation, simply because he puts his target to full HP(as well as applying whatever buff his vial has), while other healers slowly heal their HP, which makes reviving someone during combat much harder, since any random hit can put them back down. I do agree that speeding up the animation is better than reintroducing a bug.
To be honest, before reading your suggestions, i didn't even consider just speeding the animation up. Also sounds better, and would generally help, not only supports, but also your fellow battlebrothers to get your rear back into the fight ^^
yeah, speed up reviving animation or ability to roll out of fire would be great. Probably balance roll with single stamina bar available after just being revived and/or removing regen buff for short amount of time for being too active (tho second would require to redo nartethium to apply some kind of regenerative effect instead of insta-heal). Also wb nice to see autocover or autocrouch for when you've been revived behind the cover (cause while i'd love to see dem standing tall and healthy after my work, it's not very effective under heavy fire)
One thing they could do, make head shots perma down someone. I know we're in warhammer 40k territory, but head shots do kill in this universe too!
It was simultaneously nice, in that it gave veteran players a slight edge which feels nice - like a reward for your time spent - but also awful, because, just no. Why would hitting your teammates magically make them warp back to their feet? There needs to be more stuff like this, but intentionally included and logically implemented.
