And boycotting LSM games while may be helping you, may not be helping the overall situation, is what we are saying here. By the way if you are really sick of playing LSM you could always queue for a specific faction's map. It's a working feature.

I don't think the faction queueing works, I think it prioritizes existing matches spooling a new server for the next one over people in queue. So you can end up sitting there for a long time if there.
Here, you want to know my honest to god feelings on balance faction wise right now? Raw and unedited? LSM are only the second strongest faction right now toolkit wise, and only by a medium sized gap over everyone else. You know who has it really good right now? and not only has it good right now but seems to be getting saltier and saltier every week? Orks. You heard me, Orks have it extremely good right now and i'v heard them get ruder and ruder every week now, a far cry from the Ork communities original incarnation. Ace dakka is just an autocannon with slightly less damage and suppression, the urty syringe on the supposedly worthless painboy is as good as any melee weapon due to the extreme poison AND can be coupled with pistols that have the same dps up close as boltgun for a measly fifty points with mastery. The rokkits are supposedly bad AV but since last patch they do a fair chunk of damage to the back of a rhino with solid accuracy at thirty meters! Their shoota's are as good as any boltgun and the big shoota suppresses too! I still hear that Ork melee has been 'ruined' since they fixed the power attack glitch but guess what? It does just fine, they have more impact variety then Eldar and access to weapons that hit just as fast, if not faster then everyone else with the lone exception of the power klaw. But you know what? You barely run into orks, you don't see them so who cares? Out of sight, out of mind! But when a faction can have insane toughness, decent melee, and all around good ranged I don't see what they have to complain about.
Much better option. Que times for LSM are discouraging as it is. There are always battles going on with every race and you can literally join the lobby for any specific instance. If you and your friends want to lobby against specific factions then by all means go for it, but please dont try to convince other groups to join some sort of LSM boycott.
As much as I'd like to mitigate the ridiculous, but predicted, population imbalance, I find these "boycott X faction" ideas to be silly and unproductive. I think chances are a lot of the LSM would just think the game is dead and leave rather than make a new character even if you could rally enough support to actually cause a noticeable difference, which is unlikely as plenty of players don't visit the forums, and sevrral that do just salt and don't play. Not to mention I'm not that eager to expand n00b hour on Chaos.
You are aware that any ork could just count all the goodies Chaos have and reach the same conclusion you have for the greenskins?
