The Eldar are not nearly as op as the hysterics would have you believe, yes they need tuning and there is some good Eldar guilds that play the game very well but they can be beaten and it is not a foregone conclusion, to just boycott matches against them is ludicrous
Instead of whining about Eldar go practice your aim. They are the squishiest class ever. You can literally one shot them with some melee weapons and you can kill them before they kill you if you aim.
If you don't want to play against the Eldar, don't. But all these calls for an organized boycott of playing against them really is rather... weak. I'm pretty sure the developers aren't in the dark on the balance issues.
I'm shocked by how most LSM players just let me park my Wave Serpent on their front lawn and unguarded as we pour into their point. Teach every player in every match you come across about the power of destroying vehicles. If requisition was spread across all my characters, I would totally play LSM jus to teach all the newbies how to kill Eldar because as an Eldar player, fighting so many inept LSM is just boring.
The people who actually complain about eldar being OP are usually those who are not nearly competent enough to be allowed to have a opinion on such things. The biggest change that needs to be made needs to be made for all factions, and that is toning down the one shot AoE weapons.
I mean, you can try, I'm still getting us vs LSM matches all the time so that means it isn't really working, keep trying though crymarine
This is exactly my point, above. It's only when I play LSM that I see no one using melta or lascannons and thus end up being the only one. As CSM or Eldar I'll often notice a wave of rhinos and predators coming at a point and instinctively switch to my melta loadout, only to find that in the time it takes me to get back out several other players have already taken care of the vehicles, or started to anyway. This rarely happens when I play LSM unless there are active guilds also playing.
We only drop queue when we have to face Eldar back to back to back, but I personally don't kind fighting them. I LOVE Lascannoning Swooping Hawks. Teamwork is essential against them right now as they ARE overtuned no matter what anyone says. May not be as bad as some claim but it is evident. That plus Eldar usually rolling as a guild (which makes sense, that's why you do it) means if you don't adapt, talk to people, or work as a team you're really going go have a crappy time.
So you want Eldar to be a generic copy of LSM? How about no? Eldar need balance adjustments, and I can respect people who have issues with Embolden and Eldar vehicles getting to capture points, but people like you are just the worst. You keep on whining because you are incapable of adapting to anything. Even after Eldar will receive their nerfs you will whine because you simply cannot comprehend that a faction requires you to change the way you play. People like you are the ones who blame everything on balance and cry that Eldar are OP every time they lose. You don't even consider that the reason you lost was because you kept bashing your head into the same point over and over again, or because you piled all your vehicles into one place with no protection and they all got destroyed, or because you were so busy chasing kills that you didn't notice your capture being interrupted. I'm calling it right now - even after Eldar receive their inevitable nerf, people will still complain about them, because it's so much easier to complain about balance than to admit that you are bad at the game.
