I'm going to keep the orkspeak to a minimum in order to get the major points across. As we all know, Orkz are going to be the Free to Waaagh! faction, allowing the unchecked masses to become one of the undeniably audacious and all-powerful Greenskin. Unfortunately, the unwashed masses are here for fun and slaughter; not usually to win and take objective control. This is where YOU Nobz come in. 1. A fractured Waaaagh! is a weak Waaagh!. The most fundamental part of the Greenskin Horde is to keep the war machine moving and to keep it cohesive and following objectives. I propose several easily observable ways to help direct the boys to the proper places in order to maximize our shiney-bitz income: 'Banna Boyz': Nobz who lead the charge with the shiniest bits, the loudest voices, and the grandest clan standards in order to direct the gitz to the objective. Easy enough to form and make, hard to manage due to people simply not following leadership; even if it is for their benefit. 'Motivational Friendly Fire': Sometimes you are going to have the occasional stray boy who drags a krew off to do zog knows what. Well, as a Warboss, you can't just let some zoggin' pipsquig take the helm and think he can do whatever he wants and risk the cohesiveness of the Orks greatest strength that is numbers, correct? So take that Big Dakka of yours and mow the deserters down. Are they going to be sneaky gits and try and take a secondary objective? Mow them down. Are they plannin' on being brutal gits and go to where the fight is? Mow them down. YOU are the Warboss. They are the Gitz. They follow your word, not anyone elses. Not even deys own. 2. The Shiniest Bitz goes to da best dakka or choppa boy. And that Boy is da Warboss. No questions asked. Of course assuming yours truly is overburden with the shiny bitz of war stripped from stupid beakies and eldar scum, I can be merciful and allow you to carry a bit of my burden for yourself. 3. Don't depend on anyone. Where you go, the Waaagh! will follow. Self-explanatory. If you're the biggest, baddest Nob around and the world knows that wherever da big Boss Hawg goes is where the fitan is? The Greenskins will follow. And if they don't, resort to #1. Don't depend on puny things like clan orkz or banna boyz to lead you to victory. Sometimes you just have to take your powa klaw and rip a path to bloody victory in the name of Gork and Mork. Also, dependance is a sign of weakness. Charisma is a Warboss's ultimate trait. 4. Depend on the Sneaky Gitz. When that little group of flyboyz decides to rokkit pack away towards some other side of who knows where, and they are outside the range of your Big Dakka to reel them back in; it means they are eager to go and do something fun and destructive. You just have to trust them to get the job done. If not, they'll come limping back to get a Painboy to patch them up. Then you can put a slugga into their heads. That's pretty much all you really need to know in order to manage an effective Waaagh!. Everything else is common sense. And if you don't have common sense, you can't ever be a Warboss.
Didn't know exactly where to quote it from, but glad the option is still being considered. Several people were excited for the F2WAAAGGH! at launch, but at least its coming later... hopefully
before the F2Waaaagh! is launched after release i suspect we will be on the defensive against the loyal space marine horde.
