Let me just correct you there with the TT stuff because you are not reading it right. If you read carefully you have 5 veterans in a command squad, you can upgrade one veteran to an Apothecary. From that moment on he is not a veteran anymore (he even gets his own State line, like the Company Champion), but an Apothecary for all the remaining changes or upgrades. Notice that for bikes it says entire squad. So, on TT Apothecary (Codex: Space Marines) can only have a Bolt pistol, Chainsword, Narthecium, Frag and Krak (and a Bike) THIS IS JUST A CORRECTION OF @Threule1994 MISSREADING THE CODEX! I am NOT stating that the game should be a copy past from TT. CARRY ON!
To be fair we already blame the devs honestly, personally I couldn't hate more at this point since they screwed over my two favourite armies. 1 guy made a thread asking to give IF exclusive helmet to Ultramarines and they did there and then(should be in next patch with MKIII bracers I assume), I'm been asking for a pharaoh beard added to the Dire Avengers alt helmet for months, goes to show where the devs are focusing their efforts, even the Mk V legs for chaos are still broken but not for LSM, it's just annoying at this point since I like playing the other 3 factions a lot.
Does not work like that. In EC Jumppacks are not an additional item you buy like a boltgun, they are a defining role a class is modeled around, which comes with drawbacks like reduced (30) armor, a different LP loadout on JPAs and lesser loadout options in general (like reduced armortypes). Basically if they ever would make a jumpy-apoth it would have generously speaking (since then the Pack costs in this scenario no base LP) <600 LP leftover (after chainsword mastery and just wearing grey armor / 200 LP chainsword / 50 LP narth / 100 LP basic vial like a regular clean apoth loadout) and it would still need to pay for additonal fuel, vials, and grenades ontop of the 250 LP JPA advanced armor which is also not included. Not to mention that it would get another 30 Armor debuff for beeing a JPA class bringing it down to 45 default armor - making it very very squishy. In general it would be quiet shitty because of that. Considering you only have <600 LP left, Armor would be 250, Healing grenade goes for 150 LP, +1 fuel (so you get 2 jumps to even profit from the jumppack) goes for 200 LP and anything but the basic vial goes for atleast +50 LP (which you can't fit since you spend 600 points already). And you would be stuck with basic boltpistol, basic unmodded chainsword and basic unmodded narth. Im not sure anyone would really want to play this in exchange for the normal bolter apothecary. I wouldnt advertise for it, if it follows the current EC values and standards it would be a severe downgrade for that subfaction.
