Its fine, as long as veteran only gear is for LSM, everyone can take it. Its a big nono because lore only when considering non LSM races.

Honestly after playing for this long, all the bloody factions damn it, and seeing how they change, this really doesn't bug me too much...why, well, maybe it's b/c it is the same as the other apoths, which are part of a faction the usually makes use of ranged weaponry effectively. That said, I'd have also been fine with it staying just the crozius and pistol, but that's b/c I tend to work with things as they are. In this case, I'm 50/50 with ranged and melee, by that, I take melee during pvp and ranged during pve.
Dire avenger(dire sword, shimmer shield), Howling Banshee(executioner), Striking Scorpion(chainsabre, scorpion claw), Swooping Hawk(power sword). As I've said, veteran gear is cool only if your LSM.
Didn't you hear the stream? LSM bias is a myth apparently, we're clearly just reading in to it too much.
