Boltgun remowal = Support class doesn't mean "tactical flexibility"

Range weapon, melee weapon, learn the difference.

I love how LSM cry for "asymmetrical balance" when needed but then bitch for symmetrical nerf.

    That's not how it work.

The day that the Apothecary looses the ability to use a bolter, I will stop playing. And I bet I'm not alone.

That beeing said, I do understand why some players have problems with this combination. The best would be buff the tactical (via better mods) and "nerf" the apo bolter (cant use the best mods), but the restriction to able to use a bolter is, well, silly.
  3. What hippocite thing to say considering you are replying in thread where - faction member with melee support demands nerf for ranged weapon cause his faction can't do that. "asymmetrical balance" my ass!

You missed a good part of the thread then. It's not because they don't have it but because if they want to do the same (through spell), they have to sacrifice something, generally buff/heal capacity (through charge cost and spell slot)and as result, still being less efficient than an Apoth.
Or simply doesn't have the option to do so, like.... the Painboyz.
And it's not like the Narcethium was a shit melee weapon OR Apoth could swap to a main melee weapon, like other support.

    Also learn to meme.

Right I think I understand now. Your of the mind set that:

"It is what it is and it'll be fixed when its fixed so till then don't complain because it changes nothing and it'll all work itself out without our input in the end anyway"

But just express it differently because your tired of people not listening.

I don't think I have the amount of trust that you have that everything will be ok if we just leave things as they are and say nothing and hope the devs will notice and fix it "soon" -tm. due to the vast amount of past experience proving otherwise, but ok, I get it now I think.

I'll see how just straight up not giving a crap works out. It sounds like it'll reduce stress a significant amount at the very least.
  6. Noromiz Noromiz Nickname Change

I don't think they should do something that drastic as it isn't the best way to solve this issues, and if anything they could increase the cost for carrying a Bolter as an Apothecary by 100 LP.

I think it would be better to bring the other Supports inline with the Apothecary, like buffing Psy-Powers (which was just done for the Lash of Slaanesh), giving the Pain Boy some better Weapons and possibly even removing the Poison from the Narthecium (modding it will give it back to you) as there are no reason an Apothecary should be better in Melee than a Tactical.

  7. How about we don't nerf the Apothecary, but bring all the other Supports towards his Level?

Better Spells for the Sorc/Warlock and a whole lot of love, buff and toys for the Painboy.
The hybrid Playstyle of the Apothecary is quite cool and it would be a shame if it's gone. But indeed he is outperforming other Supports by miles

And not only that, most of the time he is also outperforming Bolter-Tacticals, as he has self-buff, self-heal and such. If It wasn't for the Capping-thing, more people would be Apothecarys
  8. Wich is Assymerical balanace.
Right answer here will be Buff Doc not nerf Apoth, but I guess this does not follow your agenda.
Again when your supps we lose their primary melee weapons to knifes then come back to ask for apoth primary weapons replaced by special wargear(narc) - knife eqv.
oh. I did it right you just don't get it, just like you don't get balance.

Here we are, usual LSM calling asymmetrical balance, when he said fuck it do defend himself before.
Asymmetrical balance would mean that Sorcerer/Warlock would be highly and natively superior in a domain compare to Apoth since they don't have part that he has.
Heal/buff? Same power, done in a different way. (Afk nade/embolden, 0.5 full heal/on time ranged rez, heal)
Melee? Apoth can be the same as a Warlock.
Range? and here it hurt for Painboyz/Warlock/Sorcerer. The biggest kek being the Sorcerer's aoe spell being countered by any scrub passing by and firing at it.

Because you do not balance a game by buffing over an overbuff, you balance. Two different things you lack of understanding.

Narth if far from being a knife equivalent, and you didn't lost your primary melee weapon, you just don't want to use (probably because you suck at melee, but that's another story).
Meaning you can have 2 melee weapons in a loadout.
Also 3 support have already less than Apoth, so it's not about symmetrical nerf to keep LSM happy, it's about balance and thus doing small nerf to the Upper one while doing small buff to the other (this to avoid a MASSIVE nerf on one side or a MASSIVE buff on others).
    That's how you balance.

You did not, that's why I'm worried about your idea of balance. Don't worry it will get better with the time and training, shhhht don't worry.
  10. Here is problem that sentese you made up yourself and all your following train of thought wrong because of that.
Out of four only Doc and Apoth are somewhat relative to supps while warlock and AS are actually casters - blame Devs for putting Librarian/Wierdboy eqvs into roles they inherently bad with compared to actuall supps.

Depending on situation - buff is part of balancing, if your argument is "Look at Doc how miserable he is" then balancing will buff him, not turn Apoth as miserable. And that's one of many things you lack understanding of.

Stop using ad hominems as arguments that's shows how pathertic you are.
Lol what crap of bs, out of 4 only doc is bad state - AS and War both were buffed in previous path and prior that 101 balancings like yours is what killed PF and PC with it's little nerf all here and there.
So noob who is here only for 3 mounts speaks about time of balance?o_O
