i have nothing against the Ultra Marines if the Blood Angels are not the best they are not far off..... who would you say is the best ? we really dont have much reading books based upon Blood Angels. we have been around for table top since the begining, in our back storey our fluf, it says all the great battles we been in, our Legion,our Chapter, our Successors, our great characters... all these things i dont know any other chapter that can boast this. and also you would expect a few good books could be written on our battle records, character building.
I know what you mean mate but you cant say our chapter is the best we are a good chapter like the Ultramarines and Imperial fists and so on there is no such thing as the best chapter or the strongest every chapter has his deeds, and sins and does a good work and have a good story, But by all means you are right on you´re post just giving my Opinion im not an Ultramarine Hater but i find them realy stupid Becuse of Matt Ward if you realize the Ultramarines are the Perfect chapter Writen by Matt Ward they are the for example in space marine Captain titus killed a deamon Prince or on his way that is Impossible that is why there is so much hate against the Ultramarines becuse they draw the atention from all other chapters and have alot of books and so on and most of Kids that start liking warhammer40k they go for Ultramarines
I agree with Phalantx, All Astartes have their purpose and place, and to single us (the Blood Angels) out as the "Best" is probably inaccurate, as there has been enough chest thumping over that claim for a very long time now. However it's okay to show some pride in our colors and known deeds, but to compare one chapter to another is like trying to count the stars in the Imperium of Man. The Ultra Marines deserve our respect, as do other Chapters and we shall give it, and in turn receive it ourselves, that is a measure of our true quality. Not what we say about ourselves, but what we say and do for others. There is nothing more noble than that.

i dont remember reading, Blood Angels fighting against Death Guard or Word Bearers in any of my books..this made me think is there any books i have not read. i havent read space hulk or 4 ? short storys which are in the 2 omnibus books, so these are what ill try and get. thanks
