  1. Blind drops make you land somewhere in a PVP zone by yourself would suck tactically.
  2. Agreed, it would also need to be squad focused.
  3. So blind drops into a PVP warzone with an entire squad?
  4. I love the idea. Be blind to outside world while you descend. Suspenseful! I just want to say that it would be good that the "Blind" drop selection area is limited to only areas to which you have friendlies in. In other words, you can't just select the map from over head, as a squad leader, and drop pod your platoon behind enemy lines if you do not have ground level visibility.

In come the need for scouts.. ;) Or even players who have patience and skill enough to slip past their enemy and lay low in a tactical advantageous location. When the PvP enemy notices drop pods dropping in behind them than they will KNOW that someone or thing (teleporter beacon) has been placed in their rear/flank. Dread will settle in at the fact that they now have to allocate resources to locating and destroying the person/thing which was placed behind their lines as well as the enemy which just dropped in!

If you read the Grey Knights Omnibus... in the beginning the Drop podding strike force got separated into 3 groups on the way down and off course! Plus I like the drop podding seen from ODST on how you got delayed....

  6. I have not read it. Sorry. However, this is an MMOSRPG. So they have to incorporate a lot of things WHILE leaving out others. I know that it could happen to have people drop pod in behind enemy lines without having ground forces in the area. However, this is a game and if you could just drop people in at any location than the fun factor will be greatly reduced. Think of COD spawn points.. lol

Sure why note? That's how it usually work for the table top at least.
