A grenade can easily be shot to cause premature detonation - if you see an incoming glowing green skull simply rolling will also negate any damage given the tiny AoE. In my experience, all other grenades are more effective including sikky bombs and servoskulls. Not saying blights don't have some use; I just haven't seen enough benefit from them to justify their cost is all
I suggest a cooldown for it. Just like the Auspex canister... but on the other hand that one is lsm gear, never compare stuff with lsm gear...
so far i havent done much with them at all ... and if i try to use it on my sorc im gimping myself in other areas so i have skipped nades in favor of (hopefully) more survivability and just one spell ... yeah sucks hard .. and thats not even with a pistol either ... yet i am still under my pre patch BASE stats and so still die while looking at another player its disheartening tbh... however i can fit it on my bolter / GA build but in all fairness i prefer frag / krak for the boom effect if something lives after i have hurt it and runs .. it either gets healed or is finished off by someone else ... frag / krak kill no coming back unless heal nade / apoc close and then its more bolter fire again but meh im rambling devs do what the fuck they want we just 'test' it more for them rant and rave and they coast on regardless.
Slightly increase lp costs and make em cooldown. Then add some kinda abscess to the player model that grows with the cooldown timer and bursts open when you use the grenade.
The biggest problem with that is getting others to be as coordinated. Sounds good on paper but yet to see it in effect.
