There was a time when the World Eaters and the Imperial Fists served together and they share a lot of combat doctrine because of that. The real difference between a World Eater and a Black Templar is that one is a filthy mutant heretic and the other purges the unclean. Now, stop tainting this thread.

Really disappointed with that the templars got rolled into the new space marine codex. Hopefully looking forward to an upcoming supplement since everyone and their dedicated transport gets one these days.

Yep definitley teutonic knight influences, as you would expect with the fists linked with the later Prussians, so they fall under the germanic sphere of influence. Good luck with the vote on being the fifth chapter, at the moment the black templar fans are the most active. It is really good that a company is listening so much to the fans, as we were ignored in WAR online

Templar player I really love my Templars but not really big fan of new rules, sure the tactics are cool, but besides chaos who will ever accept a challenge? and I guess having an extra die while running is ok, and now we have a 66% chance to fail DTW instead of a 83% chance which again is ok i guess. in comparison to what other chapters got, Templars are contending for worst tactics if not already the worst. and I would only ever play Templars if the are in the game which brings up the point that they cant call this game "Eternal Crusade" and not have the Black Templars as a playable chapter.
