Hey fellas- who out there plays Black Templars? What do you think of the new dex fold in? Would you like to play Templars here on EC?
New codex is meh for BT, I like them but we already have two assault specialists, I'd prefer some Raven Guard.
I suggest anyone who is lacking in faith take look at ashcrofts stuff to be reinvigorated with zeal. https://www.facebook.com/40kcrusade#!/pages/Dawn-Crusade/422355194540301
I am the Imperium's holy blade, High Marshal Grey! I've played the Black Templars for a while, I am not the biggest fan of their rules in the new codex, so I usually change around what ruleset I use, sometimes Blood Angels, sometimes Salamanders, stuff like that, but from a lore perspective, I'm a huge fan of the Black Templars
I will be a Black Templar in spirit, if not in body. I will take the lives of the champions of the Enemy in the name of Dorn and Sigismund, the first Emperor's Champion! None may stand against the might of the Black Templars! I also happen to have a small 500pt BT army. I don't play a lot of tabletop, so I haven't bought the new codex. The 4th ed codex is good enough for me. Though I do hear that our fluff was butchered a bit.. Psyker tolerance? What? I will ram my sword through any psyker I see on the battlefield.
Hello, as the owner of over 6000 points of BT id have to admit the new codex is MEH, sure they gained all the "old" stuff they didnt have, but sametime lost pretty much everything that made them the BT.. but damn straight I would play them if they arrive in EC
I was saddened to hear that the Black Templars were not a part of the starting four. They would've definitely kept me away from the path of heresy that I now tread. Ah well, c'est la vie.
Templar all day every day. As long as the spirit of the templars lives on in the other chapters brothers, none shall stand in our way.
I think Templar's are very... meh. I never understood the massive fanbase for them, I mean they have a nifty art style but the whole "RAWR! ANGRY ZEALOTS" is so overdone with the Imperium already.
