Recently came across this chapter during one of my random reading lore phases and wondered if they would be nice to see in EC to others apart from myself, my main interest is they would have there own unique melee for non heavy or assault classes since they sharpen there bony protrusions, plus they tend to tick of the inquisition abit due to obvious mutation but are still a highly loyal chapter and they came from the cursed founding at that.
While they are a fun chapter ,they dont bring enough to the game in my opinion ,afterall we allready have BA and SW so we got both assault and Inquisition agravating chapter and they also as you said part of a latter founding. It would be better to have Salamanders or Iron Hands i believe...
minor second founding or later succesor chapters are sooo far away from being included in EC its best not to worry about them .... if they get added it wont be for a few years after release at least (so 2018 or later)
yea I didn't mean a immediate one to the game honestly i'd rather see the salamanders, crimson fists or white scars(once we get more info on vehicles) before later founded chapters like the black dragons or deathwatch
They would certainly be an interesting choice, and one of the few later foundings distinct and characterised enough to stand up against the First Founding chapters. While the likes of the Marines Errant, Novamarines or others retain some great lore to them, the Black Dragons are much more visually distinct and have more of an angle to work with in this war zone. The main problem is that, as pointed out by Galen, they're already covering ground occupied by other chapters. Unless someone could make a unique spin upon this, I can't see them offering anything vastly new to the game.
in the end when more and more chapters are adding they'll overlap roles anyway, pretty sure we won't have more then 20-25 chapters since the war for armageddon had up to 25 I believe
