Talk about the real big dakka out there; ACE Dakka. It's different now. It used to feel like you had a heavy bolter that fired slower, but with more power. Now it's almost exactly like using an autocannon.
So it's working like it always did then? I mean the only difference I really found between the two was ours still sounded like the dakka-deffgun.
Big Shoota definitely plays the same as it did before, so does the Ace Dakka. Ace Dakka just got a new firing sound so it matches up with its actual rate of fire, which means I might actually use it now.
Tracey Big Shoota is now modifiable. The only mod I have unlocked is the Textured(?) Grip (the one that reduces spread per shot). I gotta say: the gun's a gift from Mork himself against LSM! It has 100 Pen against the regular Shoota's 80, so that probably has something to do with it. Gork may have been smiling on me, but 'oumies absolutely melted under it. Haven't tried it against Eldar yet. Enjoyed slightly less success against Chaos than LSM, but it was a fortress map and they turtled up very well. Autocannon and Abaddon's Cheese will still ruin your day (big surprise).
Yeah it got myself the Tracey Big Shoota yesterday just cuz I always wanted it, looks proper flash! And I dunno why but I have to say I was having a much easier time with it than I usually do with Big Shootas. Dunno what changed but I'm liking it.
I'm not sure what the actual numbers are but doesn't the Tracey Shoota have an innate accuracy buff? So with the Heavy Barrel and Textured Grip it feels a lot more accurate but I can't tell if it is to a degree worth the extra 100 LP. It kicks like a damn mule as a result though.
tracy shoota is a masterwork big shoota with a special skin, its modifiable now so you can reach more accurate shots then before.
Far as I know it only has tracer bullets so it's easier to place your shots since you can see them much more clearly. I actually don't use the Heavy Barrel due to the increased recoil. I actually take the barrel that reduces vertical recoil so I can keep my shots on the same target more easily. Figured the tracer shots made up for the lack of the Heavy Barrel.
