Open Beta I hope only to be like 1-3 months before launch for Network tests and for ppl to see if they like what they see or not.

That's usually the way it goes, Open Beta is usually just a simulator for launch stress.

I got super excited when I saw the thread name, then I got super sad when I figured it was a troll thread or something, now I'm back to being ambivalent....

Strangely the BF4 beta was more stable than the launch version.

Yeah but still pretty unstable for me .... At least lag-wise. Servers with logging in etc. went pretty fine for me ; played PS3 version

The game is fine for me, it's very playable I just get fucking crashes every 5 minutes on PC for seemingly no reason.

sometime even developer use open beta for make a "soft" launch that is a true hidden release i look at you neverwinter online.

troll thread? all i ever asked since i could sign up for a beta on the site was if i was supposed to get an automated mail from the devs that stated i had successfully registered for said beta as is the norm in these cases, i merely wondered if i had goofed the application or something, i know the beta is far in the future i just wanted to know if i had applied correctly when using the "beta sign up" and therefore the title "beta sign up"
