    1984 by George Orwell
That's surely on top of my list.

Then there are, in no particular order, LOTR, ASOIAF, Dune, IT, and pretty much everything Cthulhu related :D

  4. I've seen ASOIAF posted twice now and I still don't know what the acronym means.

1984, what a blast from the past. Imagine how much Orwell's ghost must be shitting himself these days now that the government has the capability to be far more invasive than he even imagined.
  5. ASOIAF: A Song Of Ice And Fire. It is the original novel series that spawned the Game of Thrones TV series, which is named after the first book in the series.

  6. The books are incredible. But I swear he is going to die before the books are done.
Same as Robert Jordan ( Who was actually horribly ill .. )

I just hope Martin stops eating and starts writing :p
  7. I swear George Orwell had visions of the future.
His books are scary and accurate.

  8. Don't say that! I want to know what happens to (insert favourite character and pray to the God-Emperor that they're still alive)!

Ya, don't get me started with that, it gives me the chills. The sheer... plausibility... of it is... eugh...
