Ah so it's the stagger that breaks the execution animation, so any weapon or ability that causes a stagger will do this. I take it this is working as intended then? Or is it just a coincidence that has been overlooked? But does that mean that just because all staggers break any animation, that they should also break execution animations? The executor put in the risk for the reward, should they get an opt out just because they've been hit by a stagger? It does seem a bit like favoring certain weapon choices over others when taking out an enemy to save an ally from execution. I suppose it just means that for the forseeable we'll just have to whittle their health down with our side arms then finish them off with a well placed strong attack. Job done.
