Being A Tacticals "chaperone"

    Still a WIP but that's as planned. Not magic words but you know, opening the gate.

    Watch the video again they are talking about towers and static defences etc etc. A stronghold isnt going to fall just because the front gate failed.
    And i never advocated that JP users or the rest of the classes,that are unable so far to cap, to be able to take a fortress on their own.What i am trying to say is that they should able to cap in a reduced way ,for example if a tacticals device can "cap" in 1 min an assault should take 3-5(numbers are random).

    Who said the stronghold falls when the gate falls? I sure didn't. I just pointed out many things ASM can do to help allies force take down the stronghold, not just trying to rush capture point and fast cap the base.

    So far, you've been unable to answer this question. Why do non-Tacticals (Assaults, Devastators, Howling Banshee,etc) have to be able to cap? Like I said, they still have other responsibilities that require their presenc.? Why do you have to persist that they have to cap like it's the only job that matters?

    The whole point of only allowing Tacticals to cap is not only to define their role clearer but also to help other classes focus on their jobs better. Devastators can now comfortably provide cover fire without worrying about capping thus not wasting useful heavy firepower, Striking Scorpions can now play like real assassins that they are without being turned into Ghost Capping tools by their SF leaders.

    And i just pointed that there are so many defences that it seems imposible for this to happen.
    For the same reason ASM can get items/weapon that threaten armor,they are not as good at it as Devastators but they are threatening .Tacticals so far can do pretty much anything with varying degrees of succes ofc,I am merely asking for the same treatment for the rest of the classes,where possible.
    And by making the tacticals the only ones able to cap we are not defining their role ,we are making them the only ones able to complete that role ,being better at that role would be role defining.
    And really ghost capping again?! Are we talking about an empty fortress/cap/objective because ghost caping requires empty locations .,and ASM capping or not an empty/poorly defended possition will fall no matter what.

    Well, a stealth class ghost capping an entire base by himself can be more or less considered ghost capping.

    Tacticals are the jack of all trades, master of none in this case. They can do a lot of things, but they're not the best at them. Assaults are capable of taking down vehicles, yes, but they're also the best ones to chop down everyone who has bad luck running into them in melee, they're also very good in CQC. Devastators on the other hand have suppressing fire, can take down tanks super fast, and super lethal in open ground. Tacticals are not the best at any of those 2, so yes, having them the only to cap is better defining their role.
  10. the other classes aren't called tactical classes for a reason....they aren't geared and ready for diverse duties. Find your role and stick to it.

    You don't see healer or medics in other games whine that they can't tank, do DPS and the hokey pokey, all at the same time.

    Its easy to sense the people who haven't played the games where whole classes are made obsolete, because the better classes can do what they do, but..well.better. So no reason to ever play them.
