Really? So where do they get all that debuffs/buffs from again?

How about jump over the wall and open the gate? Sneak through the sewer and take down the void shield? Jump on the wall and kill every Devastators you see? How about doing any of those things? Or do you just want to capture the point and be done with it?

I've not heard of a siege when 10-20 guys jump over the wall, take down a flag and declare that the stronghold is taken. Normally they open the gate for the attackers to come in or kill the general to decrease the moral. They don't take down the entire stronghold all by themselves like freaking supermen.

Exactly why I now support only tacs being able to cap. It forces us to think of new ways of contributing. I'll definitely be identifying key targets to go after with some like minded individuals. I won't be using classes like assault marine as a front line kill machine. More of an extendable beatstick. Pick the most important looking guy with the shiniest bits. Eliminate. Move on the next shiniest bits. etc. Or do the opposite. Locate all the small squad sergeants and undermine from the ground up.

I'll be perfectly content to wreck morale so they're too busy to shoot my tac buddies.
  5. I posted in the Grenade poll that a homing beacon as an item would be cool. Plant them during the fight and people can see the radar ping on the map, maybe even being able to call strikes down on that position.

I'd love if we could somehow slap a homing beacon on an enemy commander. like painting a giant X on them to tell your team mates who to focus on.
  7. Don't see why not, though I think a recon class with a laser sight that can bring the pips on targets while in the cross hairs. Helps elevate them from sole sniper duty, into a REAL recon role.

Exactly, especially since all Sergeants or Squad Leaders will have symbols to distinguish themselves from the rest. Moreover, they also provide buffs, which means killing them actually do harm to the enemies.

I'd play recon any day. I'm terrible at being precise in video games but I'd love a recon class to happen eventually. Marking targets or being a forward observer for commanders. Sounds great.
  10. Did someone say Recon?
