yes because otherwise people will suicide for restock ammo.

msv open up a different set of problems
  2. Well considering that Arkhona was an Imperial world, you may be able to scavenge up some un-tainted ammo.
Bolt Weapons are practically the reserve of the Astartes but PDF and IG forces do use some, especially the Heavy Bolter.

So there's a chance that with any fortification/base "inherited" from Arkhona's defenders there's an ammo dump or store at least nearby, with ammo that fits Imperial and Chaos heavy weapons plus possibly some boltgun and/or bolt pistol ammo.
Also, if it fits SM/CSM weapons then it probably fits Ork weapons as well (though the Orks may need a Mallet to help it fit).

So then you've got a choice when you're running low on ammo. You can either hump it back to your ammo transport/dump, or raid your opponents!
  3. Well with the ammo supplies they are crates laying around that restock all supplies. So all the invaders need to do is push hard enough, in order to secure some ammo crates. that tho makes it wonder would eldar get to use a crate filled with imperial ammo :p

Ammo Kit is confirmed but much like the Repair Kit and Med Packs it'll likely be available to every class. I don't personally like the BF model of class-only gear on lesser tactical loadout options. However being a Tactical specced for support it might be feasible that they get cheaper access to those kits, other games have done it *shrug*.

Hell, I'd think a Jump Pack Assault supporting his mobility-themed squad with packs and kits would be a good idea too.
Oi, insider-git. Meant to ask you: Do those ammo/resource crates have markers on the radar map ?

  5. I can't remember 100% , As chainsword don't really need all that much ammo so i was barely there ^^
I do think they did off top of my head, it might've had a small symbol maybe @TheEasterplatypus Can remember better then me since they hug that thing.
But i know if one guy found it and told the others you'd all know where is was

Yeah I'm looking at the 8v8 radar and there are a lot of static markers. I guess the larger ones are vehicle requisition pads but their are other nodes (non-strategic markers) that I'm guessing are either crates or maybe spawn locations ? Could be anything but if they're going to have ammo available like that it would make sense that it's highlighted.
  7. bring me up the map ill let you know, gotta see it to remember 100% and there were markers for the vec spawn pads the infantry spawn i don't think so tho

  9. there u go ^^.. again i stayed chainsword with assault and the apoth so i didnt visit an ammo crate xD i barely fired any round out of my bolt pistol
  10. Well considering that Eldar weapons fire either monomolecular edge wafers of crystal using gravitic impellers or some form of energy, then I'd think they'd carry most of their ammo requirements with them, as well as having some in their vehicles for fall-short.

It would give them an advantage over other Factions.
