I honestly don't know how people are having so much trouble with Eldar after they got their tweaks. Since the double stacked stuff got took out and the other adjustments got made I prefer fighting them to Chaos now a days. If you have to complain at least complain about the right stuff. Nothing greater than charging down that over cocky lone Eldar who just realized their mistake. What needs balanced is somehow take all the glue eaters off my team spamming plasma TK glory shouting boo hoo to anyone who says anything to them. Then you get the face palm matches where 10 people all file into a capture point with no tac and just sit there. Less people playing like scrubs would help a ton but that will never happen. Hell they could spawn the Emporer himself to fight with us and someone would kill him with plasma spam to kill that one near dead enemy lol.
You'll get ambushed by apo/painboy=you're dead. Otherwise, they are dead unless they are excellent at melee RPS, but if you have lifesteal mod, you're safe.
Not condescending at all.. And yes its blatantly obvious the devs hate Space Marines, why who knows maybe they got owned once in a table top match...
Are you saying the OP is condescending or the reply? Because from what I can see, the devs DO want the game to be balanced, but it is INSANELY hard for Warhammer 40K to be balanced in any way. The OP doesn't apparently care about balance, only that it is 'fair' for him.
Tried Eldar, cut SM to pieces with basic banshee... Oh and those warlock swords>power swords easily in speed and damage comparison. Gonna try more chaos now. Let's see those balanced necro chainswords in action. BTW - it's all about weapons and TTK, not about special factions. For example - if you give some poisonous necrosword to chaos assault classes, give same weapon class type(speed and damage) to other factions. That's what all talk about.
Currently I think LSM are doing pretty good. They nerfed Ork and Eldar to the point that LSM can actually kick their butts.... maybe too much. Chaos on the other hand has proven to be a great challenge (and Im not talking about their skills). In several matches with the guild we can plow through any map and defeat pug groups of eldar and orks with ease but when confronted by a group of chaos pugs we really need to bring our "A game" or we are toast!
Other than the shitty melee meta that gives heavy advantage to melee capping units, and completely gimps ranged units, LSM is fine. If they fixed melee bugs, took durability loss off of winning RPS, and buffed the knives just a bit, LSM would be completely 100% A-Ok (and it'd help the Eldar's DA something fierce). They still need to nerf the PC charging time being so short. Other than that, LSM are doing quite well, even without our grav gun. If anything, other than the obvious melee elephant in the room, we need to ... 1.) Bring CSM down a little bit, obviously 2.) Fix the Painboy, as he's not necessarily a bad unit, but just outdone by other faction's equivalents and I think that is having a heavy affect on the orkz' win/loss ratio 3.) Re-tune DoT's something fierce, they're all just too much 4.) Re-tune higher level wargear prices or abilities (looking at you useless Iron Halo of the Adept) 5.) While I don't think the Eldar are actually doing too poorly right now, I'd like to see where they are after some melee fixes/tweaks are implemented. After that I'd want to see if we can make their tempest launcher a bit more viable in LP cost. Etc.
