What is up with all the scrub threads recently? There is so much wrong in the OP I don't even know where to start. It doesn't take much to guess OP plays LSM exclusively. And you have plasma cannons that one shot whole groups and shields that take that plasma cannons shots without living a dent on you. You'll soon have grav guns no one else have which are hardcounter to any melee character in game. Apothecary bolter have longer range. Eldar vehicle speed is exactly the same as other factions speed. Only acceleration is different. For the infantry, Eldar spring whooping 15% faster then anyone else, you won't outrun bullets, you won't escape melee. Only a bit faster. You might want to reconsider if power fist is the best weapon to use in melee. Should I remind you what natrecium is and what does it do? Rites of Fire? Anti infantry incinerating las cannon? Thank you! I bet even a smart boltpistol could down faster than SoC. There was a video posted the other day of someone using it on a swooping hawk. 10 seconds they had it trained on them and in the end, an autocannon took the hawk out and the sorc didn't even get an assist.
That's exactly what ordinary LSM player feels of the current EC state. And not only one here, but a horde of the rest LSM, not minding the pugs and newbies who just come, die, and delete the game with the agony and screaming "give me my refund!!111" All weapons and things need to be balanced carefuly, not just brought into the game as is.
And out of all that list, one, maximum two points can not be countered by skill. Horde of LSM are exactly that-a mindless horde of noobs who come, die and blame balance before everything else while they themselves are the biggest factor to these constant loses-not the balance.

(Which has been tuned down but was functionally everywhere in every match while it was at full strength and was available in the 5k box where as every other weapon that has a status issue is in the 30k or 12k) also the Light something...I forget the name but you get an anti-infantry lascannon Stop trying to powerfist a high speed skimmer. And you can Melta/Multimelta/Meltabomb it. You just can't run straight at it. Ya know I try to never defend knife ears but. Seriously...go try killing people with just that gun. It is annoying at best to get shot at by it and it can't damage tanks.
I didn't know that myself initially when playing this. I did however hold shift out of reflex of running on foot and was confused one day when I wasn't and I was trying to figure out "Why is the vehicle so slow?" The answer to driving is "GO FAST" and learn to control the forces of speed!
