It seems to be expressed towards LSMs popularity, which they make popular, it also seems to be disparaging towards things they like with no real knowledge of how they work, I can and have argued with Space Wolf players about how much I dislike the chapter but it's not because they are bolter porn or I perceive something as inherently wrong for the crime of being space marines. Frankly if you don't hate them or aren't angry at them then you aren't expressing it well, no one is harmed by the spread of misinformation but them, and no one is hurt by talking down to them for their popularity but them. It doesn't change how Games Workshop operates, never will. I refuse all of that outright, because SM have done amazing feats but Chaos Warsmiths have invaded the Phalanx, because Carnifexs have trampled Avatars of Khaine to death, because Necrons have relentlessly exterminated space mairne chapters and only left because they wanted to. The amount of extreme feats is larger because they are more popular and have more fluff, thus more examples, that isn't an inherent flaw with the writing in the same way as a C.S Goto book or a Matt Ward codex might be.
Waste of time I guess, plus beauty is probably a thing, I don't know if they can terrafrom but if they do it's probably via wraithbone or something, I doubt they can bring plant life back if it works like that and virus bombs would kill all plant and animal life. I think another problem is getting it in place as well, a Craftworld would never go near imperials, too risky for a planet
Given the 10,000 years the Imperium has existed, it would have been faster to virus bomb stuff and then terraform it all. They also wouldn't need a Craftworld to unleash a virus bomb. They're not that big.
I dont think Craftworld Eldar would even dream about doing something like harming a maiden world with something that would wipe out all life, especially since they intend to retake all of them. I doubt the Dark Eldar would simply wipe out an entire world either, it'd work against them since that would deprive them of hundreds of thousands, millions or possibly billions of slaves to take back to Commorragh for pleasure/torture/service and extension of their own life via extracting their souls.
And if Gandalf would´ve asked the eagles to carry frodo and the ring into mordor all would´ve been good.. It is a story written by people for gods sake

Woohoo LSM loosing to CSM... come one... How many times it has been the other way around in 1 LSM vs 10 CSM. When the Avatar of Khaine got trampled on Malantaï, it was against CarnifexS and a Swam Lord. He had a glorious death. As far as I remember, only SM avant garde got wiped by Necrons (meaning scout) and it was space wolves precisely, they were doing some discussion with the newly found Tau race (yes LSM got some cooperation with Tau) and they decided to wiped the necrons in return. Then opinion divergence, everyone hit his neighbor, Empire is not included in the greater good, Tau are filthy xenos. Lets kill everyone.
The Avatar of Khaine literally challenged the swarm lord to duel and then was trampled to death, that's not glorious, that's a comedy. Also the previously mentioned White Consuls got annihilated by Necrons. Also you pretty much ignored my entire point that more lore means stuff like that happens more often.
