    The accuracy gives better hits paired with extended range. Its for anti hit and run ships. It allows me to effectively extend my range by twice as much. And the armor pierce is over kill with mega kanons. If I was using macros or lotsa guns it would make more sense to use armor pierce but less important with the kanons.

    Accuracy upgrade only applies at >6k range, which means only the prow guns and lotsa guns are gonna receive the buff, and with Ork accuracy suffering great penalty at range, that accuracy buff is just not enough to compensate.

    To anti hit and run ship, I'd recommend getting zzap kannon instead, much more reliable (only effective against Chaos and IN though). Another option is to get upgrade for speed boost or detection range (for better warp jump).

    There is no speed boost on orks anymore (unless I missed an update)
    You would be surprised how often the kanonz hit at max range with range upgrade. Honestly the only thing I find to work well against orks is chaining traktor beams. Either slamming people into eachother or bringing them in range to ram, but I think they messed with the damage taken from ramming because my ships seem to take a lot more now when I ram. Either way I enjoy the range/accuracy boost. I did set up my battle cruiser with all zzap kanons and give them range boost as well. I only wish they had an upgrade that speeds up the charge on shots. But the range plus crit boost on lock on is pretty nice. I just sit him way back an snipe systems of ships with lock on crits.

    But only the prow guns and lotsa gunz will receive that accuracy boost, since all kannonz max range is only 6000 with range upgrade, and the accuracy boost only kicks in at range above 6000.

    BTW, by speed boost I mean the Red Button boost, the speed upgrade was changed to that, now it increases the Red Button efficiency by 25%.

    Thought it was just 25%faster cooldwon. Never really needed a faster cooldown since most of my ships are evil suns, and by the time I reposition my ships for another pass the gauge is full or almost full.

    As far as kanons go, they will occasionally shoot at targets >6k distance if they pass in and out of your range which results in recieving the bonus when they burst away. I have had kanon hits as far as 9k on eldar when they boost out. It may be a bug or unintended but I def see an improvement in accuracy when I take the buff.

    That's still relying on RNG though, can't say that's bad. Since you can do is to rely on RNG against Eldar anyway, no freaking thing works on them.

    What is the maximum number of upgrades that an Ork Battleship can have (without the extra one from the favor)?

    @Azurand if you mean kustom points battle ships get 3.

    If its the armor/engine stuff i think its 4 without favor
