Well stun is on it's way out so... But yeah stagger if that's stuns replacement. I guess the scream would also supress as that's been confirmed staying for Heavy Bolter but you've gotta be up close and personal to use the mask... Edited to avoid NDA breach. I keep forgeting which bit of the forum I'm in!
Assuming they have faster melee attacks than what we're seeing from the marines they should in theory be able to keep up with opponents who try the same roll spam bullshit that's going on now as they'll be lunging forward with each strike. And couple that with a reduced recovery time from melee swings (which kinda goes hand in hand with the increased attack speed). Fleet of Foot has a limitless amount of ways of being designed to make up for the lack of jump packs so whether problems arise of reaching a target directly or sneaking up behind one there's little in the way of IP appropriate methods to fix it.
Fleet of foot would most likely make all the Eldar run like they're all on crack Hopping and running around like frisky little bunnies Doing laps around your Dakka just to display how "You're too slow"
Running fast dont means can not be killed, some skilled players may upload videos about how to kill the OP banshee in the future lol
I mostly agree with everything said from a fluff perspective. There's a hell of a lot of ways Banshees make viable ground Assault units e.g. Scream, which would stagger, since that's a feature of the new combat system, Acrobatics, so on, so forth. At the moment they have to sort the melee system out properly for reasons I don't think I can discuss... Keeping in mind we are still waiting to see more in the way of specialised Melee ground assault units in game i.e. Plague Marine/Assault Marine w/ Storm Shield, both of which were mentioned in Live Stream 40. With that said the basic melee system revolves around Stamina, light attacks, charged attacks, lunge attacks and the 'defensive bash', whether they transfer it directly over remains to be seen, but on that basis I REALLY hope Banshees have more movement in their attacks, more speed and less delay.
Haha sounds perfect for banshees I think banshees should be one of the very best in close combat But when you manage to hit them they should die really quick And therefor they have lots of tools to prevent being hit Eldar style! Fleet of foot should be represented this way if you ask me: When Eldar start sprinting they get a decaying speedboost which let them travel short distances very quick Additional when they are below 50% HP the speedboost decays 50% slower (Perfect for hit and run)
As soon as they start tossing Gargants around I quit I'm taking my Choppah and my fancy hat, and walking out with a nice cup of Nope I might over look it if they posses a shit eating grin though. That magnificiant bastard
