The executioner is a two handed weapon though so you wouldn't be able to use your pistol with it

If Dire swords, power swords and Shimmer shields came in, you would think that Mirror Blades and the Executioner would come in. I think that would help keep Banshees' valuable. I haven't used the Banshee enough to know how good the Wail is, though I think it should be a stun, not whatever that blue thing is!

Thanks for letting me know the models are in. That is something at least. :)

If they are going to gimp the Eldar this way, at least they might have to make Exarchs more readily available. ;)

We already have some Exarch weapons now so I see no need to Exarch lock weapons bar gameplay changing one like melee Hawks and Dire Avengers personally, I guess I want this faction to get fair treatment of who gets what.

The last time I played Melta/Grav guns along with flamers and all heavy weapons were legal for space marines tactical but Power weapons, fists and special pistols and storm shields and I believe even storm boltors were all Sergeant/hero locked, the exception being Vanguard Veterans, which is a Veteran class in this game and is named as such for space marine melee vets.

So yeah if Chain sabers, Mirror swords, executioners, biting blades and Scorpion claws are vet locked and not "no animation/ can't be assed rip mandi blasters" locked then I'm pissed, only exception is the two handers maybe, if other factions get no base class two handers then I fine with Vet locked Biting blades/executioners as well.

By lore Power Fists are supposed to be incredibly rare. Like, 'there are literal shrines built to house the Power Fist when not in use and it is treated as something of a planetary relic' rare.

I've not read this anywhere, but would make sense for Imperials, as most of these are used by the marines. Supposedly rare by their standards as well (unless your in the first company, where anyone can have one ). They are usually reserved for Chapter masters and Captains. The odd sergeant, who has proven himself worthy can get them as well...

I have not found any references to these being rare for Eldar. The only thing that makes them rare for the Eldar, is the fact that they are only used by the Striking Scorpions Exarchs. If a Craftworld doesn't have many Scorpion Shrines, then they will very rare. If it is a large Craftworld, then no so much.

Ultimately it doesn't matter. For us it will be limited by the utility of the Scorpion class and how much people like using them, relative to the other classes. This will probably be enough to make them rare. ;)

Man if they ever change their wargear from power swords to power weapons on TT then you bet I'm equipping them all with Lances:D

Good old lance charges from big booty space elves into range units, one day...one day

Also- an Executioner is a glaive not an axe? And appears as either a spear, a two handed sword or as a scythe No mention of it taking on the appearance of a Poleaxe. The common glaive appearence is also far more close to a scythe than the poleaxe, as it's basically a falchion on a stick. Though, that's real life an not eldar so i may be wrong there.
