  1. High Adept Zeth High_Adept_Zeth Arkhona Vanguard

Zeth looked scanned the room left and right as he looked at the Band.He met Jozai`s gaze and he knew both of them thought the same.Even if they both were so very much different,it only portrait the Band`s greatest strength-trust despite almost tragic diversity.

Seeing as Cameron took the dangerous task of distracting upon himself (quite dangerous considering he is a Medic!),Zeth took cover in the nearest shadow that had any hopes of concealing him and yet be close to the bulkhead. The plan failed considering how he had 'luggage'.

By the Omnissiah...-though Zeth as he rolled his eyes, seeing the two guardsmen struggling to heft up the power generator over the great stairs.
Seeing as the enemy opened fire,Electropriest`s eyes widened at the relish of combat. The whip at his hip (har har!) started vibrating in the anticipation of combat as if alive...or maybe because it was electrocuted constantly, considering how Zeth leaped up from the 'shadows' like a mad man, grabbing the nearest traitor`s face and electrocuting him until the man went limp and his skin started melting like overheated rubber.

    "Lets have some FUN!"

As the attack began and the first shots were fired the sound of trench whistles could be heard coming from down the corridor, mere moments later out of the shadows of the passage beyond an assault of Imperial guardsmen funneling through the narrow space started flooding into the room. both of the heavy bolter crews of the traitor guardsmen who were previously distracted by Cameron suddenly turned their attention to the new threat along with much of the remaining guardsmen not already engaged with the other members of the band.

The two heavy bolters spat at the guardsmen killing several in their first round of shooting, the regular traitor guardsmen nearby armed with lasguns killed several having set their rifles to rapid fire they shot disparately at Valkoth's oncoming assualt. Behind them the automated turrets mounted on the ceiling fired seemingly at random picking of individual soldiers completely at the whim of the cogitators controlling them, they shot quickly and efficiently the devices completely without mercy as the machine spirits within them carried out their programming.

Among the ranks of the assault Jack himself was charging along with the rest of the guardsmen, at the first sign of heavy bolter fire he had dived behind a nearby wall and had taken cover rolling as he did so. a number of guardsmen joined him there while the rest of the platoon plowed onwards a soldier running past Jack's position took a lasround to the head and he fell over backwards where he lay parallel to Jack himself. another of the guardsmen sitting next to Tower fell foul of the attentions of an automated turret and was gibbed almost immediately by multilaser fire. Jack rose from cover and quickly picked off a trio of traitor guardsmen manning a segment of wall the powerful hellgun shots completely unimpeded by the flak armor as he fired, Tower ducked back down as a salvo of return fire was directed at his position he quickly checked his hellgun and waited for the return fire to be redirected.

The rest of the platoon threw a multitude of grenades at the gunline which detonated among the ranks of traitor guardsmen, one of the flamer specialists managed to get close enough to one segment of the wall where he roasted another pair of guardsmen that were taking cover behind the solid edifice. behind the attack Valkoth and his command team could be seen advancing as a brisk pace into the room, the commissar took one look at the gunline and had immediately picked off a prominent traitor with his bolt pistol the roar of the weapon somehow managing to echo around the room despite the carnage. spurred on by Valkoth the platoon pushed harder despite their casualties seeking to dislodge the remaining traitors.

Kyrana leaped forward once the brave and certainly interesting distraction had failed, - or had it-? it had certainly started the fight off. She leaped clean over the front ranks of her own Humans, boosting herself off the shoulders of the nearest Guardsman with a war-cry.

Segueing into the battle with the grace of a dancer she deployed her adrenalite - er, adrenaline shot and felt the combat drugs (well, near as, she reasoned, not that reason was uppermost at this point) course through her system. She felt so alive! Splinter rounds flew from her pistol into the lightly armoured traitor Guardsmen. They didn't have to kill, they just had to hit - each lethally sharp glass splinter came loaded with a neurotoxin. The result of this was one of two things: screaming agony followed by allergic reaction and death, or more usually just screaming agony and the twitching dance of overloaded nerves going haywire known with grim dark Eldar humour as "the Commorragh ballet". She lashed out with her agoniser, using the nerve-whip to a similar effect. If any of the Guard were more focussed on the Lord of Pleasure than the Lord of Decay, then there was the spectacle of Kyrana's voluptuous form in its spiky accessories, high leather boots and little else, but she wasn't counting on that right now.

No, she was too busy having fun.

Keeping as high as she could she sought to draw the enemy's fire upwards, so that while they were shooting at her blurringly fast form her Humans could take advantage of the distraction she provided. She cartwheeled past, landing beside Gordan.

"Let's show these vermin some spectacle for the first and last time in their lives!" she shouted, ending in a war-whoop pf sheer exhilarated and unholy joy.

[OOC 's ok Donairian, so long as she doesn't miss the fight! I will be out this afternoon until mid evening, possibly about 8pm]

  4. As the combat insued Zial could feel as if the book in his robe was searing the temaining flesh above his heart, the combined powers of chaos in this room seemed to have a weird affect on the techpriest for combat didnt seem to matter. He saw his visions blur right before him either having a noble guardsman shot or mutilated, then snap back to reality where the man was fine, albeit as fine as one is in a war zone. Running up to a wall the tech priest managed to pull out a trio of small grenades, lighting all three of them off and chucking them into the fray hoping to cause any carnage whatso ever.

Another vision can to him, this one completely taking over his vision. He depicted the commissar and his command crew, except where they where was the lone figure of a demon which then disappeared only to appear closer and as it was about to swing its sword down disappeared.

Ignoring the strange visions to the best of his ability Zial vaulted over the wall. His mechendrites impaling, tripping, lashing, or shooting anything nearby.

As Valkoth's assault impacted the gunline the row of traitor guardsmen immediately fragmented their numbers too few to establish a viable melee front. The heavy bolter crews forced to abandon both their positions and their heavy weapons fled back towards the bulkhead.

A handful of the traitors also fled towards the bulkhead leaving only a few guardsmen left to fight a desperate melee battle with both the band and Valkoth's own guardsmen. As they reached the bulkhead they turned and started shooting wildly at the battle they just ran away from, a pair of the traitors were banging frantically on the heavy metal slabs calling for the bulkhead to be opened.

Only the turrets remained to sustain any serious fire support for Reklar's men, their machine spirits remorseless in their diligence.

"Cog-Botherer!" Kyrana shouted over the noise of battle and endless dak- er, firepower. "Can you fix those turrets?" Either of the red-robed Sons of Mars would do. Preferably one who could act quickly. She vaulted up and over her latest corpse and tried to catch up with the men pounding on the door for assistance.

  7. "As you wish!" casting a side a traitor with a friendly hole drilled into his side Zial rushed bast bolter fire, guardsmen struggling aganist each other, and finally made it to the heavy turret.

"Hehe this is going to be fun" Opening a pannel at the base of the turret Zial took out his dataslate and connected a big red wire to the tablet. All at once multiple datasheets appeared on the screen, rendering the turrets function, remaining ammo, damage to systems and even info as to the manufacture.

"System override.. comeon.... anyday now....damnable machine" Scrolling through the heaps of informationn the Enginseer finally found what he was looking for, a small button imbedded into a heap of random access memory.

"Alright, let's see the damage, hehe" Activating the override a basis control appeared on the datasheet, somewhat of a round touch controller enabling the user to control the turret. Swinging the turret over Zial pressed the button to re-enable ammunition consumption protocols.

Aiming the turret at the remaining swathes of enemies, the turret managed to gun down quite a few cultists, and was now pointed towards the opposing turret, unleashing a hail of gunfire into the chasis.

Jozai moved towards the carnage, grabbing a traitor and introducing the filth to his hungry combat knife. He used the corpse as mobile cover, keeping his head down as turret fire erupted all around. He picked off some more traitors with his bolt pistol, until he was forced to discard his newly acquired cover as a result of autogun and lasgun holes peppering it. Jozai dived behind nearby solid cover and continued firing his bolt pistol, trying to keep an eye out for his fellow exiles.

Most of the remaining cultists were eliminated by the barrage emitting from their own turret they were completely unprepared to receive any sort of fire from so dangerous a source. almost immediately the few remaining guardsmen fighting among Valkoth's men were killed or routed those that fled were quickly run down by the pursuing guardsmen and swiftly disposed of. The guardsmen gathered around the bulkhead were annihilated being forced to endure volley after volley of assault fire until nothing but dead surrounded the great entrance to the bridge.

As the overridden turret was turned to fire at the still functioning turret the weapon switched into rapid fire mode and it unleashed a stream of powerful multilaser blasts into the hull of the second turret, although many of the shots failed to penetrate the armor a few did manage to perforate the metal shell and damage the mechanisms inside. After a few seconds of this treatment the second turret finally failed and it became silent the automated weapon no longer targeting the assualting guardsmen, with its destruction the entrance to the bridge was finally secured.

slowly the room was filled with the celebration of Valkoth's men who cheered their initial success success only to be silenced with the roar of a shot from Valkoth's bolt pistol into the air, the Commissar and his command team were trudging through the dead towards the bulkhead no worse for wear for the previous battle. They came to a standstill at the site of the decimated gunline were a couple of guardsmen were trying to salvage the abandoned heavy bolters, Valkoth was now looking grimly at the still sealed bulkhead after thinking for a few seconds he barked an order to the band.

'Techpriests use your expertise to open that bulkhead, if you cannot get it open we can open it ourselves with demolition charges'

"Nicely done, by Vect!" shouted the over-excited hyped-up Dark Eldar. "Well, that is, nicely done, by you and a whole lot of electropower." She giggled, kicking a mostly-severed head free from the shoulders of her last victim. She vaulted down and landed next to Cameron, looking from him to Valkoth. On reflection, she decided that her Human looked better in the frankly silly headgear than he did.

"Wait wait you have explosives?" Her eyes widened. "Go on make it blow up make it go boom please please please ILOVEEXPLOSIONS!!!!" the Wych said without pausing for breath, bouncing up and down like a small child at a particularly sugary birthday party, her pinprick pupils widening and staying wide. Partly her improvised combat drugs, partly just love of things blowing up.
