Valkoth turned away from the group, as he looked back towards the planning and his gathered officers had nervously calmed down to resume their normal duties he signaled to a nearby pair of guardsmen who started hefting a large portable power generator towards the group. panting with the exertion and holding the bulky piece of machinery with both pairs of hands the two lifting the heavy device placed the generator in front of @High_Adept_Zeth the device landing on the metal floor with a heavy thud. after groaning briefly from carrying the heavy machine the two saluted the tech priest, one of the guardsman a young man spoke up. 'Valkoth instructed us to accompany you in the coming battle honored tech priest, in doing so we will carry this power generator for you to use as you so wish.'
Jozai let out a silent sigh of relief now that the Commissar turned his attention from the group. He looked at Cameron and offered a slight nod of appreciation for getting the Exiles out of that awkward and potentially dangerous situation. He looked at the tech priest as the guardsmen stood there waiting.
Adept looked left and right as Valkoth`s men organized themselves for the battle to come.Suddenly his skin tingled in vibrant sensation as a power generator was brought to him. "I thank you...Commissar!This will serve me well...yes!It will!Wait...what battle? We are assaulting the bridge?inquired young Electropriest as he dragged away his wizened eyes from the tasty candy that was the generator,to the Commissar.
OOC: just so you know Zeth you can consider those npc guardsmen carrying that generator under your control, they will follow you around with the device unless you tell them otherwise. Valkoth looked over his shoulder briefly his eyes still fixed on the plans and the row of monitors displaying the current battle. he spoke loudly so even though he wasn't facing the group they could still hear him. 'This assembly is the rally point for the imminent attack on Reklar's base, the actual assault shall begin momentarily as soon as I know the traitor's men are fully distracted by the greenskins. in the meantime your comrades shall have one last chance to equip themselves from the armory, after that I shall close access the weapons stocks to help supply the battlefront.'
[OOC So alerts emails are back but not for this one? It should have reset now I've seen it. I know it's frustrating. I got an alert TODAY telling me I'd been tagged in, so there's that. I will try to find time to reply IC today as well. I'm not dead.]
[OOC Right! Time ] "It's true," said Kyrana, leaning forward to catch the Commissar's attention as he quizzed her Humans. Did the man in the funny hat know that they were her Humans? She didn't pause to consider it, because she had the arrogance of a Dark Eldar. "The Inqusitor's own retinue came and collected him, using some kind of portal - xenos technology," she translated helpfully. Oh well. Help yourself to weapons? Don't mind if I do! Kyrana had her splinter pistol and a goodly supply of shards to fill it, somewhere about her person in ammo pouches because dear lord, what part of that outfit could be considered able to hold ammo? It didn't matter in Commorragh, and it didn't matter now. She had her agoniser, and she had knives. A lot of knives. What more does a Wych need? Hmm. "Do you have any combat drugs?" she asked hopefully, not really expecting a Yes but trying all the same.
One of the guardsmen near Kyrana spoke up instead, he was busy checking his lasgun making sure it was up to standards before the conflict began. 'Not sure about drugs ma'am but there is medical supplies in the medi-packs which include shots of morphine and adrenaline, you would have to request use of one of them from the Medicares over there though.' The guardsman pointed to a nearby field surgery which was being set up in the room, a couple of guardsmen with distinct white helmets could be seen organizing the available space and were arranging beds and sorting out what little supplies they had in preparation.
Adrenaline, adrenalite ... close enough. Kyrana gave the Human a wide smile and wandered over to the medics to ask them for some. Then she sought out some plasma grenades if she could get any. And then, she formed up beside Cameron and Jozai, ready to go and wreak havoc in the name of the Emp- well, just in the name of havoc, really. And for getting off this ship.
Zial had sneaked his way to the back of the control room, the darkest corner they had avaliable. From the deep cowl of his hood his glowing eyes watched everyeature of the battle, and the comissar. More than once had the Techpriest reached for the plasma pistol in his coat, only stopping himself through force of will. As the hubbub of simple conversation went about the techpriest slipped quietly into the armory, grabbing a muktitude of plasma bombs and the like, acquiring a surplus in case e tras were reauired. looking around the armory Zial spotted a peculiar piece of Xenos weponary. The weapons glowing green in the dark armory
OOC: Zial requested a Necron weapon but the thing is I am no good with that sort of stuff so its just going to be a Gauss flayer. Hidden away in a box in the corner of the room the glow as it turned out seemed to be coming from a open topped box, inside a single Gauss flayer could be found sitting among a collection of books, papers and various other objects. on the side of the box a relatively new label could be seen identifying the objects inside the box had been recovered from the living quarters by a patrol sent out by Valkoth not too long ago.
