Kyrana followed along quietly, although not without a suspicious glance at Zeth. She kept a lookout for trouble from all quarters, because Dark Eldar habits die hard. But in the main she was glad to get to the point where they could hopefully get the battle done (violence! bloodshed! gore! and looking fabulous while doing so!) and then find a way off this relic of a ship. Or ships.

The Sergeant turned to watch the row of monitors still displaying the gathered motley mob orks in the fake rendezvous point, over with the Vox equipment the one operator was chatting loudly over the speaker seemingly informing Valkoth of the group's appearance in a stream of Vox operator jargon. As the operator continued the Sargeant looked back over his shoulder at the group his expression serious.

'Apparently if Reklar doesn't take the bait Valkoth is just going to leave them there to do damage to the heretic on their own, personally I think he would be an idiot not to do something about it. That mob is just one warboss away from shouting a Waaagh'

On the monitors a number of las shots disparate from one another started tracing out from the various corridors around the gathered Orks, the greenskins up to now being gatherered rather condensed manner in the one room suddenly started to disperce out into the corridors in search of the ambushers. Their warcries could be heard as far as the hidden outpost the group was now in and upon hearing it the Sargeant almost startled suddenly started barking orders to the rest of the guardsmen.

'There is the captain's response men, everyone pack up and move to Valkoth's position ASAP! take everything you can carry and leave the rest behind we got to vacate this place now!'

With her agoniser in one hand and her splinter pistol in the other, Kyrana followed Cameron.

The squad of guardsmen and the group left the outpost, a number of the troops grabbed boxes of supplies and munitions with one hand while the vox operator himself grabbed whatever pieces of communications equipment he could carry including a nearby portable vox device which he carried on his back. Upon exiting the room the Sergeant shut the door behind him after making sure no one was still inside and then placed the door on an access code lock via the security terminal.

'That might dissuade the orks from coming in here to loot what we left behind, Emperor willing we can come back for this later. Alright anyone who cannot run follow the instructed directions to Valkoth's position, if you are seen by any Orks drop what you've got and try and lead the greenskins away from the new rendezvous.'

The Sergeant looked to the group.

    'You lot follow me'

The sergeant led the group through a series of winding corridors, a number of the squad more heavily burdened than the rest trailed behind the group and eventually vanished in the darkness of the various passageways where only their slowed footsteps could be heard pounding the metal floor as they attempted to follow. In the distance the sounds of the Orks vs Reklar's guardsmen could be heard, the nature of the battle was unclear and it was unknown if the fortunes of the conflict swayed in either direction but at least it seemed it had distracted a percentage of the heretic captain's men.

Eventually the group found themselves in another room, larger than the original rendezvous and secluded past a partially collapsed side corridor, the room was brightly lit and filled with guardsmen surrounded by boxes of ammunition and assorted weaponry. There looked to be a platoon's worth of guardsmen assorted into groups around the room itself, a number of infantry squads were mixed with heavy weapons teams and even some dedicated special weapons squads were equipped with combat ready flamers.

In the center of the room Valkoth himself along with the platoon officer and his command squad were standing around a hastily erected command post watching the monitors on the present vox operators collection of communications equipment. when the group arrived Valkoth turned to watch as the group entered his piercing eyes thoroughly examining each individual member he seemed to be looking for someone in particular, after a moment he spoke loudly asking the group a question.

    'Where is the Inquisitor?'

Yeah, it would be good if someone actually answered Valkoth's question instead of standing there gawping, technically Zeth did not answer the question he just did some inner monologue. since Valkoth isn't a mind reader I really can't do anything until someone acknowledges this rp again

Stepping forward Cameron decided to answer the Commissar, "Commissar Valkoth, Sir, the Inquisitor left the ship through some sort of portal Sir!" He stood at attention, this could go very bad for him depending on the Commissar's mood, and how he handles the news. He secretly hoped that the Commissar would be relieved that the Inquisitor was gone.

Valkoth frowned at the news, but as his hand hovered over the holster he refrained from reaching for his new bolt pistol, the sergeants and the platoon commander behind him had stopped planning to stare worriedly at the commissar not knowing what he might do. Instead Valkoth responded his voice was curt and clearly angry but for some unknown reason he seemed to have decided to spare any need for a summary execution.

'Very well, but bare in mind Medicare that impromptu loss of an Inquisitor no less is heresy in behalf of all those who allowed it, you better hope for your sake guardsman that his departure was voluntary or else you and the rest of your group would spend life in the penal legion if I don't decide to execute you first.

Valkoth turned back to his gathered officers and picked up a small note that was lying on the table turning back to the group he looked over each individual member with steel in his eyes, he spoke again.

'In the meantime, the services of your group though unacceptably unorthodox in the eyes of the Imperium could serve a valuable role in the upcoming battle, consider this your potential redemption in the eyes of the Emperor should any your respective combat performances prove exemplary. Members of your group can serve a critical role once we are in command of the bridge and have successfully dispatched the traitor captain, to this end I will provide equipment to best augment the abilities of certain members of your group. If you do well, I shall overlook the loss of the distinguished member of the holy Inquisition and refrain from carrying out any charge against any of you, until that time comes though consider yourselves equal in facing the Emperor's judgement should you fail.'

"Commissar Valkoth, it was his own personal retinue that took him away." He gave the sign of the Aquila, "I will do everything in my power to serve the Emperor!" He quickly took his leave from the Commissar's gaze lest he decide to execute him for insubordination.
