Kyrana beamed back at her Human; it was good to see some decent rapport building up in the team, which would be needed, she reasoned, to get away from here. She turned back to Gordan. Quite a tale to tell, that one. "A big bug?" She grinned. "I think we saw one or two of their kind. Not, though, quite that big, I think." She traced the line of the scar, since he didn't seem to object, musing on the size of the creature and how it would look in her arena back home ... the roar of the crowd ... their adulation ... Oh, it would be magnificent ... Focus, Kyrana, focus. "Many gifts - so we are old allies?" She smiled a little at that. Humans were a strange species, yes, but their greatest warriors it couldn't be denied had skill. And if he wanted to talk, well several of her band - ah, and there went another of them, the handsomer of the two Adepts. Attending to essential maintenance. She could see Jack doing the same. The little band was really shaping up to be quite efficient. Maybe they would stand a chance of escape after all. "Some don't listen where do you hail from, Lofty." The big Marine was on his feet, his expression angered. "Not listening to a superior probably from who your primarch was suppose to be, that is why you don't have the seed of the astartes, I in-thrall swine like you..." he put his hand on his face and shook his head "I am in a way sorry but when an lesser ranked officer doesn't listen I get really annoyed no thanks to the Imperial Fists." Kyrana leapt fluidly to her feet in case she had to defend her property. But it was all right - Gordan had himself under control. "Now, now. There's something you need to know, Sir Knight-Errant," she said, moving a little closer to the short and compact form of would-be-Astartes Jozai. "These are my Humans. They are my - hmm, what would be the best translation? You mentioned thralls, yes? Those who have specific roles in your service? Well Lofty here is my Etiquette Specialist. That one you spoke to in the grey jumpsuit - he is my Technical Advisor. Cameron there is my Medic and Jack is my Special Artillery Operative." "Now as I understand it, if you kill my thralls, that is a breach of conduct between allies and that would be shame. I want us all to get along so that we can escape this flea-bitten hulk." "After all, we can do so much more together this way, yes?" she said, fixing Gordan with her dark eyes. He should be able to recognise a tactical advantage when he saw one.
OOC:Terribly sorry guys had alot of stuff to do (since i moved to australia and all that) but ill be able to continue atleast 2 times a week. In the far reaches of the hall Zogrot could hear laughter (or what it barely sounded like) and voices he barked as he thought they were Orks, they would try to capture him again to use him but so far none have made it happen,he had noticed "his" WAAGH! power was gone it seems the Mad dok did not make it the one Ork he did not brutally crush or pull inside out and the one that didnt try to use him but actually traded with him he asked for gretchin and squig parts and gave Zogrot some painkiller sauce. He walked slowly but with his stikk it was not quiet at all as the stikks thuds against the metal floor could be heard not that he ever did anything quiet that was one of the bad things about having weirdboy powers everything would explode or scream making as much noise as possible, with a big inhale he yelled "OI DA FRAKK IS GOIN ON OUT DERE" finishing that he felt a sudden power overload and he proceeded to hit his foot on the ground while ahead of him a powerful force came down and slammed the metal floor making a foot print he sighed and said "I 'atez it wen dat 'appens" he continued to walk forward seemingly unfazed or did not care there were possible enemies out there. OOC:Also how dare you Zeth,Zogum entrusted you with squigie and yet i have not seen a single post with him in it!!!! but dont worry after Zogrot confronts you guys ill be sure to bring squigie back in also IM BACK YISSSSS AND HELLO NEW GUY oh were gona have fun times since you seem to looooooooove psykers hehe.
OOC: ok, going to assume from the silence you lot want me to advance the story, or at least fast forward you through the night so you can do whatever it is you feel like doing. The final event in this particular chapter is very close at this point all I need is an instigator.
OOC:That is not true!I posted...once.You can see it in a post right after Zogum`s 'death'.Squigie is safe and sound, muddying up my robes or...w/e back in my chamber. Its just that the creature have been so passive after the demise of its original master. OOC2:I will instigate.Unless you have specific directives i shall post thee tonight anyway
[OOC In my case it's work making my brain crawl out of my ears that keeps me from posting more. I hope to be less tired over the next few days. But please do It'll be fun to see what happens next!]
Zeth went back to his room...kicking the squige off his already dirty robes. The walking, meatly blob didnt mind, and it seems to like violence, motivated by it,Zeth guessed. "Come on then...i might need your help. Can you wash? No?Didnt think so...never mind.Come."spoke Zeth as he shook his head of,as if in disappointment. Gathering his dirty clothes he walked out, trying to find anything decent to clean his clothes in. <Half an hour later > "Not so bad...purged the impurities right of!Look at the color! It is blemishing!"spoke Zeth as he showed the sleeve of his,now wearing robe, to the squigie, the later, having no appreciation for the finer things in life. "Just dont tell Cameron that i used his alcohol to clean the stains! You cheeky bastard!I`ll show you!"yelled Zeth as he went after the squige that started cheeking his giant tongue out, mocking the smexy,red-robed Adept. Where did it go?Damn you Zogum for having to die and leaving me with that...creature!Thats it....this is my penance! Looking down the corridors for squigie,Adept started whipping the air with invisible whip, trying to remember how would Kyrana do it.Liking how it looked in his imagination,Zeth was just about to try it,uncoiling the whip on his belt. Extending to its full size, the weapon was at least five meters long, brandished with bronze overlay and expensive finery.Adept marveled for a moment at the weapon, the question still bugging him.Who the hell could leave this in his room? "There you are....come here you little, ungrateful meat-blob!I wont HURT YOU!"yelled Zeth as he raised his whip, trying to discipline the little creature, without hurting himself in the process. He was cut short by a fizzling red light that zapped squige on the behind, the creature screaming horribly as it jumped-ran back to base, its back-side giving away, small tendrils of smoke. "We found the strays!Kill them all!We will deal with Valkoth on the go."spoke deep, yet incredibly flat voice from the darkness followed by green lights and more zapping sounds.Orchestrated thuds and clanks of many boots against the metal deck. Next thing Zeth remembered amids the smoke and fire of hazy memories was that he was in the 'kitchen' at the homebase, everyone was looking at him.He held a decapitated head (neck wound incinerated) in his left arm,and squigie was chewing the hems of his freshly cleaned and alcohol stinking robe.Head was held by few strands of hair that it had on its decomposing temple.Face was retarded and drolling, one of the eye-sockets jet-black.(dead Renengade..duh!) He stammered, realizing he held the whip in his right hand, the thing was bloody, crimson painting the burnished bronze overlay: "Err...enemies?Yes...hostiles!Captain!The Captain! He found out about our 'betrayal' at the purged hangar."spoke Zeth, remembering what had happened. "He found out the location of this base, sent a hit squad to eliminate us.This one...ewww!"spoke Zeth as he dropped the head to the floor, wiping his left hand against his robe, staining it.The stain smudged on his robe and Zeth sighted in surrender. "...as...i was saying."spoke Zeth as he tried to clean the stain..making it worse in the process "that one spoke that they will hit Valkoth next and they will not send a hit-squad." OOCossible reply in eight hours...got to sleep some. :3
Kyrana spotted the flick of a whip out of the corner of her eye. You can take the Wych out of Commorragh ... She turned to Zeth, watching him with her hands on her hips for a moment. Then she moved fluidly up to the Adept, taking hold of him bodily to adjust his stance. "There - keep your back straight, strike from the shoulder, don't let your wrist do all the work," she said, positioning him like a fancy red-robed marionette. "That's better." She beamed. Oh wait, there was something else - something he'd said that was important ... beyond good arena form. "Oh. Yes. The little man with the big hat. We should probably warn him, then. Do we have vox contact? Or are we going to go and attack his attackers from the rear?" Ambush the ambushers. Fun for all the family!
OOC: alright everyone ready for that fast forward? sorry I've been absent for the last couple of days been having to do errands for everyone for the last couple of days and have had no breaks at all. The distant noise of the static from the destroyed announcement system nearby continued to blare out along the corridor outside, whatever it was broadcasting it was almost certainly on a repeat across the entire ship. Very occasionally the extremely faint sound of a voice could be heard through the static but with the announcement system in such a state it was beyond incomprehensible, but it was clear that the device was picking up a signal of some kind.
"Strike from the shoulder....got it."spoke Zeth with a nod as he fought the ferocious urge to whiplash Kyrana. An urge he never felt before and whip was more then willing. "Maybe we should..."and then blarring started all across the ship. "What in the name of..."spoke Zeth, cought off guard by the loud cacophony that manifested as he tinkered with the vox-reciver on the wall. Short circuiting some wires Zeth turned to his Enginseer collegue. "Adept Zial....maybe you can do it...the adrenaline hampers my ability to control my electrical powers..." @Lord_Zial_Ghoul
