[OOC Indeed, ironing we shall go, I am always a fan of sorting things out. Perhaps the fairest thing to do would be to put it to a vote, do people want Marius or Kokytus? I would be much happier to bow out if people choose Kokytus than try to crowbar the fluff to fit, vox populi, vox dei and all that. I can pull some kind of extraction out of my - er, the air if needed. And I'd still have Kyrana so it's not like I would have to stop playing.]
OOC: well basically i like the idea of another chaos guy because.. it would help me with my uh.. plans....................................... adds a little bit of none imperium/ork flavor. Ive also noticed you focus more on Kyranna as well! if you can't think of an extraction or something just notice something about me and ill stab you with a tentacle when you aren't looking, end of story. Another thing is that while you're character is a badass inquisitor i feel it'd be unfair to stop this guy from coming in because of a simple lore dispute, you also have two characters. My vote is gonna have to be in favor of the new guy XD
I( OOC can think of at least one extraction and like I say, Marius was only there to NPC. Any more votes or do I prepare to deploy the plot device? )
Zogum saw everyone getting ontop of the walker at which he scoffed and yelled while running behind them "BWAHAHAHA you pansies cant even run fasta dan me, youz beta pick up yer speedin or we allz gon be crispy. OOC: really didnt know what to write since lets be honest if a big arse ork lept onto the walker it would have a 70% chance to topple over so he's gona run and since he pumped himself with adrenaline he can do more than keep up.
[OOC Anyhow ... back to the plot? With a resounding one vote I'll act accordingly ] Marius was having a hard time hanging on at first, but the Sentinel was guided by a sure hand and a certain core of belief. He wasn't entirely sure whose. Once he got a firmer hold on his position, he reached into one of his pockets for a scroll, which he handed up to the Wych. "What is this?" Kyrana looked down at the heavyset Human in the nice coat. "I promised Racizek I'd give it to you," the Inquisitor said, "and I am a man of my word." Kyrana took it, making a face at the name of her would-be paramour. Marius shrugged a bit. "Well, he seemed very keen to get it to you and he assured me it wasn't poisoned." Kyrana rolled her eyes. "I know, right?" It was at this time that the Sentinel, perhaps tripped by a freak shot or a hole in the rapidly heating floor, stumbled a little, throwing Marius free. He flew not-so-gracefully through the air and was about to land in a messy heap when an arm reached seemingly out of nowhere and grabbed him. "Waaa-" His flight arrested by the strong female hand, Oppenheimer righted himself and was about to draw his bolter when the rest of the person appeared, in what he could now see wasn't heat haze but a wobbly patch of space. He could see familiar figures just the other side. "Susan?" "Inquisitor Oppenheimer! The Ranger said you were in danger. He and I managed to get Racizek to use his portal to come and retrieve you." "But there is a daemonic infestation here! I am impressed at your dedication, Susan, but I have my duty." He tried to remove her arm, but Susan was both very strong and determined. "Also, Sir, you appear to be in a room that is on fire." "Yes, there's no time to - wait, can you get the rest out? These are good men! Loyal servants of the .. some loyal servants ... Good men. And uh, one woman. Not so good, admittedly, but helping His Divine cause!" There was a scuffle behind the hole in reality. The sound of one raised voice. Susan turned back briefly, pulling Marius closer by default. "You two! Time?" "A few more seconds, Susan. Is she there?" "Racizek, our priority is the Inquisitor." "Let me-" A tall, spike-clad figure raised a hand and waved, vainly looking for Kyrana who was riding the Sentinel and trying to make sure any of her Humans didn't get crisped, at least not if it wasn't her doing the crisping. And unrolling the parchment. "RACIZEK.!" Susan shoved the errant Dark Eldar back and grabbed Marius by the Inquisitorial lapels. "Apologies Sir, but I have my orders from higher up the chain." She yanked Marius through the now vanishing portal by main force. With a last cry of "-but there are daemons to-" it snapped shut, and the Inquisitor was himself the subject of a successful extraction. "Oh. My. Khaine." said Kyrana from atop the Sentinel. "He actually rhymed "heart is slain" with "lots of pain"."
OOC: shrugs works for me, and now somewhere in the galaxy there is a very furious inquisitor of the Ordo malleus who might never know the ultimate fate of the band of exiles. oh well, once the group gets off the space hulk I am sure he'll figure it out in time from the witness accounts that will no doubt start appearing. Anyway working on a story update now, just give me some time to get over this headache I have been having all day.
{OOC I hope you feel better soon It seemed like a good way for him to go and now I can always use him if I ever GM something with an Inquisitor Lord in it.]
Jozai looked on in shock. He slumped down and brushed off Cameron's medical attentions as he realized his best chance at getting back into the Blood Angels literally vanished before his eyes. His noble face went blank as he tuned out the world, eyes staring almost lifelessly at a distant horizon that only he could view. He had the good grace to close his mouth at least and his lips took the form of half grimace as if he had taken a bite out of something particularly sour and was deciding whether or not to spit it out.
