OOC: Hehe I know Zeth was there and I was considering adding it, but I decided against it seeing as Jozai is working on Jack at the moment. OOC: yeah there was a lot of confused lore with the hellguns and the hot shot lasguns, they might be the same thing or they might not be but I did read somewhere that hellguns were being fazed out in favor of the hot shot lasgun Mark XIV which is where I am drawing the definition of them being two separate items at least in this RP. It gets worse though, doing my research into the more technical aspects of 40k I learned of a similar problem with the concept of autoweapons and stubbers, apparently a lot of writers cannot differentiate these two weapon types either. Jack was checking his Hellgun again, considering he had seldom fired it lately the weapon was largely unchanged but Jack needed to be sure there might not be an easy method of repairing the device if anything went wrong with it now. he looked back at Jozai as he was addressed, he thought for a moment before replying. OOC:Yeah...it goes warpish since different writers know to bend-lore to themselves in these smalls matters (where probably they dont even see it) and leave it...canon. Hellguns and hotshot lasguns are the same thing as the general lore goes.This so far is a fact that can easily be grabbed from the wiki,the 'Hellgun' being a more colloquially named term for a Hot Shot Lasgun. Later one they merged,but i still differ it by ignoring the latest issue mark.Thus...they are the same.I know...i manufacture the damn thing! On the topic of autoweapons and stubbers,thats where it gets truly complicated,tho i have cought up a bit of Necromunda,where they diverge the stubbers (an autoweapon) into your typical .50 cal thingie that is mounted on a local military Humvie. But when they merge you can separate them by this: Stubber-a not-cool archeotech that is still being used. Autoweapon,being so colorful and divergent,a weapon that is being innovated till this very day (usually by a local Reclaimator in an exchange for...i dunno...liver?) and can variate in any possible way as long as it is small-arms and ballistic (thus not a bolter). Basically a same thing,but different if you really go into the tiny nitty-bity of certain writers. Simple! Praise the Omnissiah!
From outside the armory the faint sound of voices coming from two guardsmen could be heard all the way back in the central room, apparently something had happened and the two troopers were talking loudly enough for the entire group to overhear fairly easily. 'Word has come back from the patrol we sent to the cargo bay, apparently a mob of Orks have set up camp and have already established an orkhold using a lot of the old metal containers there. The patrol mentioned in their report that the mob is being led by a big mek they are currently trying to see if an actual warboss is present but so far the patrol says they have yet to see one. Go see if anyone around here would be prepared to lead a raid, we cannot let the greenskins establish themselves and run riot if we can help it.' With that the voices stopped and the guardsmen back in the central room went their separate ways. OOC: Ok so this was just a side quest I threw out there, you don't need to go after the Ork mob if you don't want to but remember it is a free RP and I must allow the freedom of choice before this RP becomes too linear.
Zogum astonishingly overheard the conversation through the feasting of meat and piped up to the group "Oi bois metinks we needs ta go to da place and bash dem weaklings base,wez can git gud stuffz from dere since we lovez ta loot and we wont be needin ta come back to dis place" he grabbed zeth and the other techpriest and with a grumble said "youz been actin kinda scared since wez got 'ere i haz a knack for findin out,and squigie ova 'ere listened on when youz waz talkin i dont like dat commi at all if i see im again im gunna rip 'is face off" he turned to the guardsmen and with a weird smile said "askin da boiz ere if dey wantz some meat" he took a bite out of the meat slab and drooled on it a little "youz wantz sum too?" He shoved the grotesque lump of meat with drool closely to the guardsman to avoid suspicion. OOC:Expect alot of hacking and slashing if we go to the ork base Zogums brain is fried after using it so much.

Inquisitor Oppenheimer could wait until the Greenskin had finished talking. I would be a good use of his time to check that he had enough ammunition, now that a source had presented itself. [OOC Since the original plan was for the Inquisitor to be a colourful NPC for a brief time only I have no real idea what gun he has and a dim idea that this might be a Hellgun, however I have no real idea what this is and was only going for "really powerful shooty Human weapon" as I have no real interest in anything much after the invention of gunpowder until we get to psychic star-slingers. So ... it's uhm rare and er impressive.]
[OOC I ... don't know. Bolt pistol might have been mentioned. Only it would have to be a Human-sized one. Honestly, I don't know much about Human weaponry in 40k.]
OOC well the plasma pistol is rare and has a tendency to overheat and explode killing or injuring the user!
