  1. High Adept Zeth High_Adept_Zeth Arkhona Vanguard

    OOC:First one to get stabbed.Gratz kany,you lasted for over 100 pages! :p

Zeth nodded to Enginseer and as he was just about to sate his curiosity but tossing another question,he felt a Zial`s metallic hand around his robe, dragging him like a oversized doll to a corner. His green glowing,three-eyed bionics glowed beneath his hood, the only thing that was not hidden. His mechadendrites swirled and moved as if without a purpose in a grim parody of a serpent.Only now Zeth realized how the venerable Enginseer is intimidating.Omnissiah have showered him with great blessings indeed.

But the thing that scared him more, were Zial`s warning. It was obvious why he was confessing himself to the Electropriest and not to the Inquisitor.Even if part of the Holy Ordos,Lord Marius was not part of the Prefecture Magisterium,Holy Synod of Techpriests or the Cult for that matter. These were one of those hidden and obscured secrets that only were kept within the ranks of the Crimson Priests or at least Zial thought so.

Releasing him from his inhumanly strong grip,Zeth was just to ask him something but he was interrupted by Zogum. The ork had a most unfortunate and untimely sense of appearing when he is not wanted.

"Nothing,we just talked about some of the...Mechanicus business..."spoke Zeth, uncomfortable with a lie as he gestured to Enginseer Zial as the later was repairing one of the cogitator units with great skill.
"As with the...commi.Well...i have a bad feeling about him Zogum."added Zeth as he shot a glaze to Zial as he moved onward.
"Lets head out to armory.Inquisitor and Commissar Valkoth are giving as a...threat!"spoke Zeth, knowing that would interest the Ork.

Ork hearing that, went for the armory, glee shining in his eyes.Smiling Zeth, gave way to the lumbering Ork.Seeing him go,on Zogum`s back one of those...gretchin? limbs hanged from his backpack. The scene was quite comical and if he was in better humors,Adept would definitely laugh. But he was not.Definitely not!Whole this Valkoth business stank.Almost as Captain stank.Almost.

Turning his head around, looking around if they are alone,Electropriest approached Enginseer Zial pretending as if aiding in repairing one of the data-stack units.
"By the Omnissiah...that is quite a claim.But...what are you planing? How can he keep his defense controls away from you, lest two Adepts of Mars?Technical knowledge in that quantity, does not come from Schola Progenium."...whispered Zeth as he looked around, screwing down a bolt with a spanner. The practice was totally alien to him, luckliy he knew what the tool was for.

Cameron uncovered a cache of three plasma grenades within a crate he found in a corner the grenades looked in good condition although dusty and spattered with Xenos blood from presumably its previous owner, the mark on the grenades revealed that they were of craftworld origin. upon closer inspection the explosives looked like they bore the mark of the craftworld Biel'tan.
  3. BloodXIII Jolojose First Blood!

OOC: Hope everyone had a great break!!! I'm back! :D:D

Jozai followed the group into the armory, silently mulling over how to get his bolt pistol back in his head as he walked into the room. He took one glance at the room and smiled. "Finally, here I can find something fit for a noble of Baal" He declared quietly.

He quickly ignored the bulkier two handed weapons, preferring to have his combat knife in his right hand for fights. His fair countenance quickly honed in on the pistols in the room.

He spotted a shiny new matte black Hellpistol. As he turned the beautifully crafted weapon over he recalled the stories he heard about these weapons cutting through even Astartes armor! As he inspected the golden markings and insignias on the weapon he saw it was crafted on Cadia, and inscribed in High Gothic were the words "For Calixia Sector Use Only".

A smile gracing his noble face Jozai picked up the weapon and started looking for a suitable power pack, something small enough that could fit on his hip. He also started to look for Jack, so he could return the old laspistol that he was given.
  4. Zial turned around. His bionics and mechadendrite semsors searching for anyone else in sight. Assured that their conversation would not be compromised, one of Zial's mechadendrites pulls a tablet from the inner folds of his robe and held it up for him to see. "I've dealth with Chaos before... To be honest they're all the same. Slowly driven to insanity and reverence to each of those dammed gods." Zial heard the sound of someone approaching, and twisted his entire body and in instinctively his dendrites stood poised to attack.

"Uh.. Sirs.. I've just come to inform you that.. The armory is unlocked.... Um... I'll be going now"

The guardsman turned and hurried down the hall rather briskly. "Alright Zeth, let's go" his dendrites securing all of the loose bolts Zeth had been working on.

"See the thing is, regardless of whether I have use of the access terminal or not I can still activate his defences. You can do to some degree, although.. You'd probably overload them. But it's risky and one would be in great danger to try such a thing."

The adepts turned a corner, greeted by two guardsmen and the sound of Orks just beyond. "I may be able to get into the control room... Just maybe, I hope you still have power left in you, this truce will not last long" Upon entering the armory all eight of Zial's appendages seemed to grab all manner of weaponary.. Dismantling and reassembling in mere seconds any las gun or auto gun nearby.

Waiting for the others Zogum pulled out squigie and what looked like pieces of meat, where he got those or what kind of meat they are no one knows "Oi squigie 'ere ya go boi eat up" he threw two large chunks at squigies feet and watched as his creation his "son" so to speak gorge on the meat,he knew no one liked his presence let alone whenever he tries to help but that isnt stopping him he's a painboy and he alone is the only one to find someones brain and stick it back in the right place (most of the time) and he's the one that can install new hardware into already existing circuitry if no one else can (strangely enough the means of which makes it look impossible for it to work but ork's have a knack of making ANYTHING work) and whether the group liked him or not he'll show what a true comrade he is when the time comes.

Then again, looking back at the meat squigie was gnawing on Zogum couldnt help but take out another chunk and start gorging on it himself, being smart can wait next time he turned to one of the guardsmen with the horrified face and asked "Youz wants a bite 'umie ?" knowing full well he would probably puke or turn it down, but hey couldnt hurt to ask.

(OOC:This is getting deeper than i thought it could be im really interested to know what will happen next with the commisar).

The world around him muffled and hazed away as all of Zeth`s attention was focused on the data-slate that Adept Zial gave him.Everything was written in binary, holy word of the Omnissiah, not even Echlesiarchy`s vaunted Inquisition could break.
The content of these binaric texts were...disturbing at best.Probably excerpts from local myths and legends.Or...madness.
Tho awfully a lot in the files,'victims' suffered from whispers. What these 'whispers' actually were, the files were very sketchy,at best...

Numerous cases of supernatural and ephemeral encounters and occurrences met, observed and cataloged, throught the galaxy. It seems that Adept Zial was quite a traveler.

The amount of information was staggering and it was very wise to shroud this knowledge by writing it in Lingua Technis, whenever it was truth or not.For a moment Adept wondered would it be wiser to give the contents of this data-slate to Lord Marius or keep it away from him.Maybe these were all ramblings made by a half-mad Enginseer who spent too long on the Ark.Yet if he was mad why give it to him and him only?
He mechanically followed the Enginseer, almost stumbling on the bulky Adept as Zial took various weaponry and made it into something more suitable.Mechadendrites seem to be very useful and lethal augmentation.Quite a blessing from the Machine God.

It all went down to,whenever he trusts him enough to put in danger the Band or to ignore the possible threat to the Band.Inquisitor was more adept in such matters but Zeth didnt trust Lord Marius at all.He was Inquisitor,he watched over them and used them as tools and tools only.
Putting away the data-slate in the insides of his robe,Zeth looked around, browsing the armory for anything useful. He found a small box, barely bigger then his palm with a red cross and Helix symbols on it.Zeth smiled and put away the small box in his robe also. (secret!muhaha)

Looking at the Band, who acted more like kids in a candy shop, especially Jozai,Adept looked on those who were new to the group and on those who were with the Band from the beginning.Exiles who he saved and those who saved him.Especially Cameron, their already, lost in half-stupor,chirurgeon.
Did their lives matter?Did their lives matter more then his own?Yet he wouldnt be here without them,no matter how uncomfortable and tedious can it be,to travel with the Band.Zeth passed certain moral and physical thresholds that return to the Imperium seemed more like a cage then anything else.He was not a traitor,at least...not by some of the Cult`s laws.He was still loyal, still true to the faith of the Omnissiah, but returning to the gilded cage of some Forge World, never again to do things he has done here, the regret alone would kill him.

Then he saw Jack and Kyrana. Both of them were here from the start, especially Jack. His valor against the Tyranids in the mess hall and his tactical skill in the fight against the Eldar.Kyrana`s riding skills on one of the bestform of the Tyranids. That took some...courage to ride.Probably she would tame it,if the creature lasted long enough...
Wait...what happened with those Wraithguards?Probably guarding the old base....hah!Silly xeno automatons.

OOC: just as something to note, what I gave you wasn't a laspistol, it was a lasgun it was Jack's old service rifle from his first campaign.

Jack had absently wandered into the armory to join the rest of the group as they sifted through the collection of weapons contained within, he could see nothing that he could want at least nothing that wouldn't add to the already heavy weight of the hellgun he was carrying which he wasn't planning to give up. he looked around the room noticing a set of crates that looked intresting took a pair of krak grenades and attached them to his belt, they might come in handy later.

He noticed Jozai looking for something nearby, in his hand was what looked like a smaller version of the hellgun he was currently holding, perhaps he was looking for a way to power the weapon but had very little knowledge of how the weapon worked. there might not be the chance to get an actual powerpack in this armory at least from what Jack could see, deciding to help the conscript Jack spoke up.

'You know if you want to power that thing you can use regular lasgun clips instead of a powerpack if you can't find one, although if you do this they will become single shot weapons before you need to change the clip. Also you might want to keep a close eye on the cooling systems, these types of weapons tend to produce enough heat to warp the barrel if you get too trigger happy.'

The crazed Artyom appeared behind Jack. Offering his own words with his fellow Storm trooper. "Dah, that is why I use ballistic. No the 'warp' here. Only get Hellrifle if told to hold, when you strong like Valhallan Ox, Autorifle is better. On that lasgun, one second you kill hundred Ork, then blyat! It stops working!". Artyom took out his Autopistol from his shoulder holster. It was quite big and probably carried a heavy caliber. It had some kind of revolving chamber.

He spun it around his finer and offered it out for a look. "True master craftsmanship. One of a kind. Not as strong as the helllaser, but all six shots kill." Artyom said to accompany his motion.
  10. Donairian Donairian Ordinate

'Auto rifles are good but sooner or later you are going to run out of rounds, there is a reason why the imperial guard don't hand out autoguns as standard, whereas with a good lasgun all you need is a roaring fire for the battery and an enemy to point the gun at. Also you cannot beat the hellgun or hot shot rifle in terms of sheer armor penetrating power unless you are one of those nutjobs that go for plasma or melta, training for the use of this thing I can theoretically take it apart and put it back together again if need be so therefore I know exactly how to care for and use this type of weapon.'
