When Micheal Chan gets back are we going to get the balance patch ?
Chan has been on vacation for 3 months
HE MUST HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED! WE HAVE TO MOUNT A RESCUE OPERATION
He probably quit lol
They will get Chan! (Ignore the bodies on the sides, they are totes alive).
What exactly needs balancing in your view? (can of worms I know but you know.. Nurgle and all).
Been playing across all factions during the campaigns and it all seems near enough evens to me.
Probably the entirety of the Melee System.
- Dbash & Shoot better than Dbash & Slash
- Only usable weapons right now being Swords (And to a lesser extent, PF).
- Painboys entire existence being Pain.
These are the ones on top of my head.
One of the major problems I see about melee is the fact that melee dps is waaaay lower than ranged dps, which is the opposite of the way it should be. Ranged combat is superior to melee combat inherently due to the fact that you can deal damage from a distance. To offset this balance you need to allow melee to have superior damage. Once a tactical marine or devastator reaches melee combat he should usually lose when facing an opponent dedicated to melee. Just like a melee guy will generally use in a ranged fight. However, the current system seems to promote a 50:50 chance for ranged people to win in melee combat.
Eldar av is way too strong and it needs to be tuned down
