The Stalker bolter is valid at ANY range, while a bolter is not, and it's basically a portable autocannon, way easier to use than a bolter.

As for grav guns, yeah a power fist will die due to massive exposure to being in the middle of the field charge attacking a tank, while a grav gun can slow the tank and everyone else can kill it more easily so in reality, in an ideal situation, grav guns are 10 times better.

You're the one whining here because you want more shit for your already OP race because you can't even use any of these obviously overpowered things judging by the fact you can't even notice they're overpowered.

And this is coming from an ex LSM player, and one that still sometimes plays LSM and knows from experience...

  2. I wonder what it takes for players to understand that balance is not measured by clear cut superiority / unplayable crapness of stuff, but by the effort they require to produce the same results as their counterparts.

    stalker dps: 208
    autocannon dps 380

And i'm not even taking the penetration into account. The stalker has more spread increase per shot and more recoil than autocannon. So it's not even close to a regular autocannon, let alone the ace dakka which is an autocannon which supresses or AG with its added fire damage. But yeah right, that's totally the best AP weapon

Every single one of your post shows you have absolutely ZERO knowledge about the weapons and the stats in general. Why you keep posting ignorant stuff like that is beyond me. It's like you have no shame.

Quote the post where I ask for something, I'm waiting. I didn't ask for anything, I'm just correcting your ignorant and ludicrous statements.
  4. when did this thread turn into a debate between a single-shot DMR vs an automatic anti-infantry heavy weapon?

You're right. It's not like the autocannon. It's better than the autocannon. See an autocannon does 380 dps but you're kind of a havoc while using it, and have to brace to use properly, otherwise the recoil is just nuts and so is the innacuracy, all at long range. You're ignoring the fact that with a stalker bolter you can walk around, change positions and be more mobile in general, WHILE being able to hit anyone at any range. You can't really do that with an autocannon now can you? Autocannons are for very defensive positions, and are very vounerable, if you think autocannon users are hard to take out while they walk around firing their gun then you must REALLY suck. Stalker bolters you can use anywhere and win, at least that's what I do and I'm able to take out entire squads on my own just with a stalker bolter and servo skull.

Stalker Bolter may have more recoil but guess what, the recoil doesn't do shit, you know why? Because the kick is nullified by the time you are able to shoot, and so is the spread modifier, so all you get is a little disorientation and that's all there is to it. It really just barely affects you.

So yes, I'd again take a stalker bolter over a regular bolter or an autocannon any time of the day. And also you forget one thing, your servo skulls that basically make anyone as vounerable as a dick stuck in a ceiling fan. Yet somehow you fail to win games even with all that gear.

So I know for a fact I have more knowledge than you, and you seem to have little knowledge but your nitpicky blabber that shows you obviously don't know how to use the gear offered to you as LSM. Nothing new to be honest!

Just for refference you're basically protecting an OP faction, acting as if it needs to be buffed which it doesn't, therefore it's the same as you whining about them being underpowered.

That's not really a debate to be fair, I'm just correcting someone who's clearly clueless.

    Again, another ignorant statement.

As I said, the stalker bolter has more recoil per shot than the autocannon.

I'm not ignoring anything, you can do the same with the autocannon and you'll actually win all your duels since it'll literally deals twice as much damage per second then the stalker bolter while having less recoil and a higher rof which is much better at short ranges.

Aahh. That would explain a lot. You've actually never ever used the stalker bolter. I'm not really surprised.

Stop that pathetic faction war thing, you're projecting way too fucking hard. I play all factions. I'm just correcting your stupid "that weapon with less dps than a bolter and no penetration is totally better than that weapon with 380 dps, 115 pen and suppression/ailment" bullshit.

Also, the only people running into servoskull instead of simply destroying them are newplayer and probably you.

Again with faction war thing. You know, when I add the complete lack of knowledge and that faction war thing I can totally tell you're not an irrational shitposter.

Now that you got a bit educated on what those weapons truly are versus your biaised perception, you have the keys to stop embarrassing yourself whenever this topic comes up on the forums. You're welcome for that reality check. This will be my last post on the subject.

Can't remember the last time I killed 5 eldar in a row with an auto cannon simply while backpedaling and not over heat after a couple. However I have been able, a number of times, to servo skull and stalker shotgun hipfire my way through an eldar push even under banshee scream effects. Are auto cannons strong when setup? Well obviously they are because all heavy weapons should be strong when setup.

The beauty of the stalker cannon is it doesn't require any setup, can toggle the scope for all range effectiveness, can be paired with servo skulls and pistols, can be used on a much more mobile class, can cap, can fire instantly without the windup delay heavies have, and it has better ammo use if landing good hits. Generally heavies overheat now before they can get multiple kills. With a stalker servo combo (I bring this up because these two are way too easy to pair atm) you can easily get kills at roughly two to three bullets a kill and paired finishes with knife and pistol. And last I checked a reload is way faster than a heavy cooldown. So when a gun this good has similar or better TTK than some heavies without any of the downsides of said heavies...it kinda makes ya wonder. The only downsides really are it is easily interupted by melee rmb spam and the rof lets people at extreme ranges respond and dive away before death. Even then youd did your job to make them back up. If they had not added the scope toggle and instead just had much lower magnifications on the scope there would be way less of a problem with it but as it stands a sniper rifle that performs better as a shotgun is not a well designed weapon.

We could argue the same with the big shoota and rookit launcher, cause they delete/ supress as our devastators but can cap, melta bomb etc.

  9. Partly true; however the rokkit launcha only really works at a specific range (too short and you'll blow yourself up too, too long and you won't hit zog), against unaware opponents (this thing is even slower than a PC shot I swear), and you'd better make sure there isn't any friendly a few yards around your intended target.
And the big shoota has its fair share of issues as well. While its turn speed has been fixed, it still has a short delay before firing, making it unsuitable to direct, close-range firefights. Suppression also doesn't change much in its effective range most of the time, from what I've seen, although it does help a bit.

I play all factions but my favorite is definitely the LSM and I can safely say that I feel the LSM are the strongest faction in the game atm, you just feel bad because the LSM generally has a less skilled player base than the other factions.

I consider myself a pretty decent player at this game and I really don't like playing as LSM sometimes just because there are so many people who are new to the game it's very frustrating for me, so I generally try to split my time between other factions as well.

I think you should reconsider talking about other factions till you spend some time playing as them and how difficult it is to go against some good LSM teams as for example the Eldar.
