Greeting: I am filteredout. I only discovered 40k about 2 years ago... (my shame is matched only by the dismay at what seems a life wasted NOT knowing about 40k) anyway, I've been collecting and painting ever since. I currently have a 3k point army of Grey Knights (almost fully painted) and I try to play at my local game store as often as I can. I also run a Rogue Trader game as GM I've recently been getting very much into Adeptus Mechanicus though. I love their style and being a futurist/transhumanist myself I dream about immortality through the merging with machine. (A bit less macabre perhaps than their getup) I've read all of the Horus Heresy novels to date and I just finished the 2nd book of new ____ of Mars trilogy. I am HUGELY excited about playing this game. Curious to see what they'll do with the Mechnicum... probably not playable, but NPCs would be cool. Titans or Ordinatus would be AMAZE BALLS!!! I would really love to meet people on here and talk about fluff or Rogue Trader story ideas or get some cool people together to play with in the beta! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ||| Flesh fails, but the machine endures. Welcome adept. I couldn't imagine them not including the Mechanicus as an integral part of gear modification and repair or what not. I don't really see them being a playable race though.
