Sorry for the long list, but this is what I listen to when painting my Space Marines. The playlist really gets me in the mood for some Astartes action. Next to each track in ** I'll put what I imagine when listening to it if there's anything specific. Some may seem a bit random, but hey... I like them. Doyle W. Donehoo – Angels of Death (Space Marine Theme) *No need for explanation* Sabaton – Sun Tzu Says *Index Astartes style stuff* Basil Poledouris – Klendathu Drop *Drop pods going down* Sabaton – Screaming Eagles Nickelback – When We Stand Together Globus – Europa Powerwolf – Raise Your Fist, Evangelist *Chaplain theme* Sabaton – The Art of War *More Index Astartes* DARK NEBULA – Photonic Overcharge *Dreadnaught powering up* Skillet – Hero Sabaton – 40:1 Sabaton – The Nature of Warfare Bal-Sagoth – The Epsilon Exordium Sabaton – The Price Of A Mile Five Finger Death Punch – No One Gets Left Behind Daft Punk – The Game Has Changed Disturbed – Indestructible *Either the Primarch or Chapter Master theme* Disturbed – Ten Thousand Fists *A legion on the march* Globus – Preliator Rise Against – Long Forgotten Sons Sonata Arctica – Die With Your Boots On Northern Kings – Training Montage Johnny Cash – God's Gonna Cut You Down *An odd one, but I think of it as a marine warding himself from Chaos* Sabaton – A Secret Lunatica – Together Hammerfall – Riders Of The Storm Hammerfall – Take The Black *Black Templars* Hammerfall – Crimson Thunder *The Blood Angels* Sabaton – Dominium Maris Baltici - English Version Rev Theory – Undefeated Skull Branded Pirates – Sail To War Rev Theory – Take Em Out Lunatica – The Incredibles Sabaton – The Lion From the North - English Version *Another Primarch theme* Sabaton – Gott Mit Uns - English Version Sabaton – The Carolean's Prayer - English Version Sabaton – Twilight of the Thunder God - Bonus Track
I have to agree with Ares on the Space Marine soundtrack. I use this for our tabletop rpg. Its pretty damn good. More from this composer would be sweet.
Manowar - Warriors of the World. After watching the War40k/fantasy cinematics mashed up to go with the song, I'm convinced the song was created with the Warhammer 40k in mind.
i am dissapointed that no one has said Two Steps from hell... i regurly mute in game music in favor for them. this song fits a SM well EDIT i forgot about this song as well... TO GLORY BROTHERS
Some good music in this thread so far, looking forward to having it playing through my speakers as i deliver death to the enemies of the Emperor when Eternal Crusade comes out.
