Hmm... I dont get the concept. Psyker abilities from the lore and in TT dont have drop off so to say. It would be one thing if we "spat" out a conical, frontal AOE that only covered a short distance. The stream is a projected stream of psychic energy that's covering a relatively short distance for psykers. Considering psykers can project their energy across multiple star systems the current distances in EC should be child's play. I dont see how or why the current distances should matter.
Yeah some sorc spells could use an offensive boost. Tzeentch flame should have AUTO fire for example. The UI needs clean numbers and explanations for what all stats mean on your gear. What is the 3 recoil stats? What is Toughness value? How do you make the daemonbolt move the way you want it once you fire it? The game says nothing.
An example I could say would be a demon in one of the Ragnar stories. It fires a booger blast at short range with enough force to take an inquisitors head off. I know thats a force application instead of ailment. Atm it is mostly a harass tool with no reason to be used at short range. Damage based on proximity means he could be a shorter ranged dmg threat with spells weaved with melee.
Y'all are doing it wrong, sorcerers are absolute xp factories when you focus solely on supporting from a safe distance.
Sorcs and Warlocks got buffed in the recent patch. I'm fine with this, also, yeah this: Healsorc can be pretty good support. Hide, don't go into lines of fire, and spam heal.
