make it so that they don't overlap with other classes. they should not be anti-vehicle. that is covered by fire dragons. they should not be stealthy, as that is covered by scorpions. they should not be highly mobile jump troops, as warp spiders and swooping hawks already cover that. i mean, you can mix and match, but don't just take the strengths of other aspect warriors and pile them onto eachother. give them a specific purpose. aspect warriors are supposed to be the definition of specialist.

Assault SEARGENTS perhaps come to the skill of a single regular banshee. Well I guess the main issue you would have lore-wise is ammunition(if eldar use such primitive things), reload / cooldown time and the tiny squads. Shadow Spectres are usually only in teams of 3 + Exarch.
nope. wrong. they may be quicker, but you underestimate the speed of space marines. a LOT. also, they are a LOT tougher, and a LOT stronger. besides, i have the dawn of war 2 opening scene to back me up. that shit's cannon. what do you have? 'instinct'? 'common sense'? pppff.
You can look at the tabletop rules if you want to go canon and pit Banshees against an Assault Squad.. The Exarch would probably massacre the squad before the Banshees got through in the first place.. EXECUTIONER! Basically you're talking Speed vs. Strength.. that's an even contest depending on who can leverage their advantage more, I remember reading Yriel went up against a Chaos Lord and came out on top despite the overwhelming difference in raw power. Basically Mr. Valerius, if you come up a Banshee who's better then you, you dead~ Oh also that Banshee Scream isn't represented accurately in DoW2, seeing as it doesn't affect the Marines at all.. I guess they have enhanced hearing too so it would really suck for 'em o.o.. In this situation it's taking Banshees who are dedicated Assault specialists (as with all aspect warriors are in their defined role) against Assault Marines who happen to be more mobile and have a close combat weapon. It's the usual Elite vs. Jack of All Trades
While people talk about space marines being quick, it is true and that power armour doesn't really hinder them. BUT... still way off on comparing their speed to eldar and thinking they are the same. The only actual eldar unit that can be even considered to be as slow (or fast, if you look at it from human perspective) as a marine is a wrack. And those guys are just as tough as space marines anyway.
